A basic human right is freedom of movement a d freedom to associate. It's all been smoke and mirrors from the get go. The mandates are acts not law, these acts rely on people consenting and complying.

If you are ever challenged you say I do not consent. Of all people who have challenged fines and arrests for Corona measures have either not been entertained in court and dismissed or they won.

Not trump's basic human rights. I mean how rediculous, in our lifetimes and of those before us, when has there ever been a limit on who you can mingle with at Christmas. People need to get their heads out the sand.

You can't comply your way out of tyranny.

I think the pandemic is global and requires more global coordination to end it.

I'm seeing worrying predictions about what lies ahead. What will the government do? Don't know. I'm doing what I need to do for me.

No we won’t head for a lockdown, everyone will protest and riot

We will all see each other as usual from now no going back

Boris and his chums haven’t a clue what there doing never have never will

Pandemic will never ever end, just like colds n flus will never end, have to live with it

I don't know what you will do in England. I can see stricter lockdowns possibly, to help to reduce the loads on health services there. Health services do need to be able to function.

If it takes fewer of you associating, to reduce deaths and longer term disabilities, then most reasonable people will do it

The government is incompetent and corrupt but may still make sense correct plans.

Don't forget, this Government are no different to you or I, except they are probably more highly qualified.

So, this Government and any other that is in power has to rely upon the Scientists and make judgements based upon their expertise.

I think it is a tough pill to swallow, regardless of which side of the fence you sit.

As for me personally, if you'd like my own personal opinion, then Boris is heading toward leading the country into a dictatorship headed by Boris.

oh, and religious background DOES have importance.

Depends what happens when the new strain enters the more vulnerable section of society.

2 to 3 weeks will give a better understanding.

Hopefully, it may not need a lockdown.

The best answer is I have no idea, just like everyone else.

Can the right to freedom of movement be limited? The right may be restricted, either by way of derogation under article 4 of the ICCPR, or to protect national security, public order, public health or morals or the rights and freedoms of others, as allowed by article 12(3).

I don’t think there will be another lockdown.

I think the government are fumbling their way through.

I think ultimately the virus will an annual vaccine like the flu vaccine but I feel we are a few years away from that yet.

At the moment people seem happy enough to carry on as normal and spread it so I suppose we will find out soon enough how we hold up.

I think if we make it past Xmas without locking down then January (at least) is a write off. I fear it will actually happen before that tho.
