I wonder after reading some of the threads, and quite a few stating that they wouldn't follow Plan B or accept a lockdown if one was to be in effect.

If Boris Johnson resigned as PM, would that action change peoples minds or not?

Would people follow Plan B then?

I doubt it.

The problem with Johnson and his storm of lies is that it's conviced a lot of people none of them are worth trusting. It'll take a long time to earn back the public trust after Johnson has eroded it so much.

I wonder how many of them who are saying they don't trust him, actually voted the muppet in?

If you voted for him, you only have yourself to blame for the shit show that followed.

Assuming he did resign he would only be replaced by yet another Tory.

At work yesterday i mentioned that anyone who voted for him should hang their head in shame and that he will have to go if he is connected to the Christmas parties as he will have lied to the House (Commons).

Amazingly 3 people defended him saying “well it was nearly a year ago” and “it was only a party”.

Then you get the usual “well better than the other lot”.

I swear that if the bloke (Johnson) killed a family member and stole all their money there are people who would still vote for him.

Living where I do, I get this all the time. Working class tories that have had their arses nailed to the fence by these tears. Yet still they tick the blue on the ballot paper. Their reasoning? “Well it’s better than the other lot.” I think they call it cognitive dissonance.

It doesn't matter if a few people say they're not going to follow a lockdown. If the business, shops, pubs & Clubs, Gyms etc.. are all closed, then people won't be going to them.

It is idiotic and childish to say "They broke the rules so I'm not going to follow them".

The Government should on the other hand be held to account for their blatant indiscretions.

They govement were having parties and breaking rules because they knew the rules were nothing to do with covid and all to do with control.

These people have all the access to the real science and data and knew full well they have nothing to fear from a virus with such a high survival rate and over blown death figures.

Theres no helping anyone still buying this BS

I think this is the main problem. Most people follow guidelines that seem to be common sense but don’t follow guidelines when they make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Like saying WFH but don’t cancel your Christmas parties.

Totally not going to WFH!

If I can go to a pub, club, party then I sure as hell can go to the office and do my bit to keep my colleagues and employees in a job!

If you go into the office where you and your fellow employees spread covid amongst yourselves, nobody is going to be at work let alone WFH.

Most of those buying the BS are supporting crooked individuals, who don't care what harm they cause to others, especially if they can profit from your misery and destruction. The disgraced doc who was struck off, Wakefield, has made millions from poor health and deaths.

Come on what's your options whoever is in power is going to implement plans that people stick are of so it makes no difference who's Prime Minister.

The only thing I can say is thank God labour didn't get in as we would still been in a continuous locked down from last year like Australia.

Possibly done intentionally to confuse people into not knowing what to believe, then being driven by fear to make what they see as being the ‘best decisions’. I believe it falls under the definition of gas lighting. When one looks what has been going on it’s been a massive coercive control strategy to homogenise societal thinking. As we know many people in dysfunctional relationships tend to sadly become victims of the abuse before realising and breaking free.
