" What’s the implications?—- anybody got a view ?" I would assume they are going to fall into the same category as nightclubs… but it’s going to depend on their licensing rules… I would assume covid pass for entry… unless you have a medical exemption

"Already have to show it at Chams No you don't. You can show a negative LFT taken within the last 24 hours instead. I think there is often confusion between the covid pass and people thinking it's a vaccine passport. The covid pass is anyone who has been double or now triple vaccinated, or has a negative PCR test result or recently hade covid. " There certainly is confusion as the things you have mentioned aren't quite right. For the purposes of the passport, 2 doses are fully vaxxed, not 3. It's a negative LFT in the previous 48hours, not a PCR.

"My thoughts are as long as no night is more than 500 people then no masks are needed. The question is are the counted as a nightclub or hospitality For me actually I have to wear a mask outdoors at a football match but not when I am getting my cock sucked and someone is sitting on my face in an orgy " Masks are completely different and required in most indoor settings and has nothing to do with the amount of people.

It is also 180 days post positive PCR test (so had Covid and have natural immunity)... and medical examinations (via your GP) ...the domestic pass dose not differentiate between each reason when you present it, thus providing some privacy.. Also, what a lot of people don't realise, is that if you test positive you are blocked from generating a pass until your 10 days is up

"To get a digital NHS COVID Pass for domestic events and venues, you need one of the following. To be fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine used in the UK The NHS COVID Pass is usually available 2 weeks after you're fully vaccinated. A positive PCR test within the past 6 months (not available in the Isle of Man) The NHS COVID Pass is available after you've finished self-isolating and up to 180 days after taking the test. A negative PCR test or negative lateral flow test within the past 48 hours (not available in the Isle of Man) The NHS COVID Pass is available as soon as you get your result. If you did a rapid lateral flow test at home, you need to report the result first."

If a person who is unvaccinated needs to take a LFT and prove results, I am assuming that the test will need to be paid for through a 3rd party supplier who will then provide the evidence for the app? In other words not a free LFT and the user simply ticks a box to say negative. Any ideas?

"Nope - self administered and trusting honesty - it’s a farce" I asked on another thread and was told the same thing! I cannot see the point of the covid passport if this is the case, it is too simple to bypass.

"Nope - self administered and trusting honesty - it’s a farce I asked on another thread and was told the same thing! I cannot see the point of the covid passport if this is the case, it is too simple to bypass." To activate the pass If not fully vaccinated you need to register the test with the app. If pcr that is done for you, if lateral flow You could always say it was negative when it was positive when you register the test.

"Nope - self administered and trusting honesty - it’s a farce" Nobody would lie would they? To get into an event they've spent 200 quid on tickets for? Surely not as we have seen how trustworthy and mindful of others we can all be.

"At abfabs you can't become a member unless double jabbed or you have evidence of being exempt. Which I think is a very good policy" So no STI or aids test needed then? The latter will definitely kill you eventually.

Since when we’re clubs responsible for others sexual health lol. And AIDs is very easily treated these days your more than likely to live a long and healthy life being killed by something else so not quite accurate

" You sound lovely That’s now how I looked at it, and thankfully it never will be If you don’t like the rules don’t go lol. Pretty simple, clubs I’m sure will do all they can to stay open - wether they agree/ disagree or don’t care about the rules personally. A business decision will be to keep themselves afloat.
