Thank you. I made a miraculous recovery once they had correctly diagnosed the problem. Just need to rebuild my fitness. Trying to get through to a doctor just now is very difficult. "If you have a prescription I'd take it with you to the vaccination centre. Our doctor seems to have missing info (medication allergies) on medical notes so now I'm very wary. Also I have to plan 30 minutes free time to be able to sit on hold and wait to get through to the surgery. If you have a follow up appointment with the hospital for the clots I think I'd be asking there. | |||

Seems silly to ask for advice on a swingers forum for something so potentially fatal to be honest " Oh. Sorry for being silly. The hospital state the clots were ‘unprovoked’. Never had them before in my life though. I know of two other guys local to me that also had clots after the AZ vaccine. | |||

The doctors gave an explanation but given this vaccine business it was probably that. Doctors are deceptive. He died in 2011... | |||

"Yes contact your medical centre. They do ask if you're on blood thinners when you go for your jabs, so it must be relevant. Glad you're getting better." Mainly because people on blood thinners can get a haematoma under the skin where the needle goes in and might have more profuse bleeding at the site of injection. If on Warfarin, we need to know the latest INR reading and that it's within normal parameters. Being on blood thinners is not a barrier to having a vaccine, otherwise we'd not have vaccinated most of the over 75/80s! To the OP, you can try and get advice beforehand or go to a walk in booster clinic and ask the medical professionals there for advice. If you're under a hospital specialist, try calling or emailing their secretary. | |||

Correct." It's not in the known timeline related to the vaccine, and you've had it diagnosed. Things pop up for other reasons. Boosters are also mRNA, which are not associated with clotting. | |||
