After two negative lateral flow tests I tried a PCR and got a positive

I'm jabbed twice so I assume I'm gonna not need another booster now

I am booked for my booster next week and now need to cancel and not sure if I will bother now. Was a close contact on Sunday so had a PCR on Monday (negative) I have been LFT daily since then due to my work policy (education) and have been negative. Thankfully off for half term. Today my LFT was positive

You can't have a Covid vaccine for 28 days following a positive test but should be okay after that. The idea behind stimulating immunity in different ways will, theoretically, stimulate a broader and longer lasting immunity.

I've no idea how and when people should get their boosters but I just wanted to say hope you feel OK and recover well and quickly.
