"We both had our flu jab Saturday. That's 3 pricks each this year so far. Now looking forward to our covid booster jab to keep us and everyone else safe. Thank god for the covid vaccine, people are getting back to life again and deaths are down dramatically. Flu jab last time many years ago I got flu and never had flu before. In bed for 3 days. Never had it since but with covid still around and protected by covid jabs thought this year was the year to start back with the flu jab. If that’s so then how come it’s known that by cold immersions it keeps you much more healthy. Wim Hoff is a perfect example, he was even injected with some deadly virus/ bacteria yet when tested it didn’t show and no illness. Where have you been on last 40vyears,tgeres many vacs. Some you have to take to go to exotic places. Loads vaccine to children.
What's your point how many children's lives been saved over last 40 years "Probably a lot. I've had most of those vaccines. Only harm was a sore arm, and I didn't get all of those diseases. Most of the things we vaccinate against are most dangerous to kids and babies. | |||

You know what, you're absolutely correct ..
But
although most of us have a perfectly good immune system and most people can fight off the cold or the flu but many can't fight off Covid and the only time you'll find out is when you're about to die which probably isn't ideal is it ?
I think his point is that the way things are going we will soon be vaccinating against every disease and virus going, maybe even the common cold. At that point our immune system might be come slightly redundant compared to what it is which in turn might make it more susceptible to a new virus or disease which I guess is a possibility.

My husband has been jabbed with all sorts of vaccines for years, he's got an old Vaccine Card to prove it!
These dodgy foreign places won't let him in without them.
Never done him any harm, he glows a bit in bed but can't ask for everything.
No jab, no job.
It works for some that have a natural weak immune system (hence why we have jabs etc)
Doesn’t mean to say the WHOLE population including children need this and by god if you don’t conform then you’ll be out of a job etc
Beggars belief "Obviously you have never heard of herd immunity. There are people out there who can't have vaccines for various medical reasons. The more people surrounding them who are protected the safer it is for them. Vaccines don't just protect you. There are many jobs for which you have needed vaccines for a lot of years. I work for the NHS and when I got my job I had to have hep b, mmr, show I was upto date with tetanus and polio and as it was years ago prove I was immune to TB. If I refused I wouldn't have got my job. That was over 30 years ago. It's not a new thing. | |||
