"Nope, however I can see mask wearing become compulsory again along with social distancing " Surely social distancing should be common sense rather than something the government need to tell people to do?

"Nope, however I can see mask wearing become compulsory again along with social distancing Surely social distancing should be common sense rather than something the government need to tell people to do?" How well has that gone?

"Nope, however I can see mask wearing become compulsory again along with social distancing Surely social distancing should be common sense rather than something the government need to tell people to do?" You’re right, social distancing should be common sense, but if common sense turns out to be in short supply………

"Can folk see then happening again I do" If the situation goes to shit again (imho pretty damn likely it will) then this government will flail around trying absolutely anything. There isn't any big master plan, there won't be any "following the science", they will just do whatever the hell public outcry says from day to day. The Johnson government cares only for two things: lining their pockets from public funds, and doing absolutely anything to stay in power so that they can continue to line their pockets from public funds.

But there's another thread running about annoying adverts....when was the last time you saw a public information advert saying... "hey folks...numbers are climbing... Don't forget to stay away from people if you're ill, wash your hands, etc..."... I get reminded every 10 minutes thta I can get fats "food" delivered at the drop of a hat... What about a few reminders to stop the spread

"From a business perspective, local/national lockdowns will kill the economy. Many companies already gone bust, lots in critical conditions, I think it would be very silly to pose those tight restrictions again. But then I don't run the Country.." I'm not sure who does to be honest

Its a bit like the factors that will cause you to be more likely to extremely ill are being overweight and smoking Yet nothing is really said about that either Instead its down to others and the goverment to protect you instead of personal responsability for your lifestyle
