"I’ve been suffering from pins and needles and periodic numbness in both arms and legs, painful muscle spasms in back and neck and pretty much constant headaches for about 14 weeks now. Even wake up in the night not being able to feel both arms in tandem like they have been slept on. I can’t find any of this info on vaers yellow card system, surprise surprise yet there are literally hundreds to thousands of reports of similar on open access government site. Is anyone else suffering similar on here and has anyone’s symptoms subsided eventually at all? At a dead end with this to be honest. Had brain and spinal mri and bloods all come back inconclusive. " Had a chat with your doc?

Even if they had previously been referred by their gp, with the continuing symptoms it's a good idea to speak to them again

"I'm the same unfortunately. I had the 1st AZ vaccine and I felt a numb arm and a bit groggy/washed out for maybe 24 hours or so. So naturally I just thought it was par for the course. Went and got the second and within 10 mins or so I had a burning headache. Like the worst hangover ever but with a blowtorch searing the inside of my head. Within another 15 mins I lost the use of my legs. My back was had spasms and I just couldn't move at all. I ended up in A&E when the vax clinic kicked mw out to shut for the day and by time I saw the Consultant I'd lost use of my left arm too. This has been constant. I've regained about 80% use of my arms but legs have gone totally. I cannot walk or stand. The headaches come and go. Now I'm not 'anti-vax' or anything like that as got to keep open mind. But do I regret taking this one? Yes. I do. Prior to 2021 I was very healthy. I am a keen cyclist and runner and have even done a couple of Iron Mans as well as the Marathon once. I am receiving excellent care - but - whether I will walk again? The jury's still out. I've become friends with another guy who I met in hospital who reacted exact same was as me although he can walk very short distances. He's actually ex-army and I guess in desperation ended up pinning one of the docs to the bed by the throat demanding answers. Fearful for his life maybe the poor doc blurted that he would help him all he can but there is likely nothing they can do as they just don't know. This doctor also confessed (off the record type of thing) he thought people should not be vaccinated without being 'spot tested' first the same way a hairdresser tests a small blob of hair dye on someone's skin before proceeding with a full amount. Given my own experiences I would certainly advocate that. Of course we have to be open-minded. There will be many reading this who will have had loved ones of themselves saved by being vaccinated so it is a double edge sword. But for me, I'll try and keep going of course, but its so far ruined pretty much everything. " so really sorry to hear that and hope you regain your health soon

My sister lost the use of her right arm immediately after having the vaccine and it lasted for 4 days. She was unable to move it at all with no feeling whatsoever. After the four days it improved and began to get better. A friend who was similar in fitness levels to yourself is now suffering with body tremors and spasms which started after her first vaccine shot and she was advised not to take the 2nd dose. When I see things like this happen to people, It worries me as it feels like as you say a double edged sword. But a vaccine is not right for certain people who get these types of reactions so it is clearly a one size does not fit all scenario and makes it feel a bit like a russian roulette scenario. Hope you recover soon x

In that game you know the odds and you know that there is a lethal bullet in one chamber. We trusted the experts that we were playing with an empty gun. Thanks for the kind wishes!

"I hope every one reports the side effects " The problem is is do you know if thay are side effects. My health has gone down since having covid in Jan and the jab in March and June have seen the GP and nothing has been said about it could be side effects? The main thing is ferrteage and not being able to control body temperature. Hot and cold all the time.

" Which vaccine did you receive? Have similar symptoms, had AZ vaccine second dose around the same time as you (Mid May). I have suffered from bad headaches on and off for years so i have just put the latest episode down to a recurrence however i am finding it hard to shake this time. Although it never goes away the headache does vary in intensity and sometimes its more of a brain fog effect. I have taken my usual medication for the headache and its not working this time.

" The vaccine is safe and effective " not for everyone it isn't and so far people have only found out after it's too late.

"I could put a very long list here, about all vaccines side effects. In practically all vaccines there are some who suffer extreme side effects. There are also fatalities. The flu vaccine has painful arm and fever as common side effects (90%). HiB vaccine has many minor side effects. Smallpox vaccine had a 2% fatality rate. Practicall all vaccines have worse side effects if you already have had the disease you are being innoculated against. Last years flu vaccine caused me to have a bad headache, injection site pain and high fever. The Pneumonia vaccine was worse, leading to the loss of arm function for 2 days and a fever. The overall death rate of covid is 0.3% (average of all age groups). The variation is from 0.002 for 2 years to 15.6% for 80 years. Your choice." "Smallpox vaccine had a 2% fatality rate". So what if this vaccine had a 1% fatality rate, how many people would that affect with over 7 billion people???

" Yes, an often overlooked aspect of the trials is that it only included healthy people and so effects on those those vulnerable and at risk from covid infection was not looked at. I'm sorry for those who have suffered debilitating side effects but am not surprised the medical community is silent about this. If they as much as question the vaccines they risk being suspended by the GMC. I hope someone, somewhere is making headway with understanding how these neurological deficits are coming about and how they might be treated. I think the rapid understanding that came about regarding central venous thrombii was thanks to vaccine rollouts being suspended due to the increased incidence of these types of clots. Perhaps there just isn't the same pressure to understand severe side effects when the rollout continues unimpeded. Hope you guys make a full recovery. Stay strong x
