Must get some new boots for winter. Love kittens, but they don't love me, I'm allergic. Flu jab - yes, I'll get a booking made.

The flu jab was tested in 1976 on two army training units, I was 16 at the time, we were all given, by accident, double the dose, put us all in bed for two weeks, never had a flu jab since, but I’ve never had flu and I’m over 60 now

I wouldn’t tell anyone not to have it, it’s a fantastic thing, I’ve worked outdoors all my working life and I believe that’s probably why I don’t get colds or flu

Don't be so childish. No one cares.

Get your jab. Your life is no ones business.

You are lucky then.

I've had flu once about 28 years ago and never felt so ill. I noe have my flu vaccine every year.

Now; have we all conducted our own research on this? Checked all the ingredients? Sure the side effects are rarer than a rocking horse, hen dentist, shitting on the blue moon?

Never had flu or flu vaccine. Made few natural medicines for winter to boost my immune system. I'm sure I'll survive as always

You are aware that the flu jab is a different type for different ages?

The once in my life I've had a bad case of the flu was same year I got my only ever flu jab. So I avoid it now. It was organised by work too and flu ripped through us all in space of a month.

My immune system was pretty done in over those 3 months though, working 60+ hour weeks, not eating, sleeping or exercising properly so that probably played a big part in me getting it bad.

Annual Flu vaccine does not cover every flu virus so you could have been unfortunate and contracted a version that was not linked to the vaccine you had.

Don't forget that the nasal spray at least (that the children have) sheds for 2 weeks so please think about who you are in contact with. They should avoid anyone with low immunity (cancer patients) for two weeks it was advised on the health board letter that I received from school today.
