I can only go by the heading of your post OP. Forgive me if it doesn't cover the post that you deleted, but I'd advise you to look in your local area for support groups. Sharing DOES help, and they may be able to sign post you to more specific help and advice.

My son has had testicular cancer 5 years ago now ...

Missed your post sir. I lost my right lad to the big C 13 years ago. I went on to father two beautiful kids. When asked about it I lean on self mocking.

“When I run I veer left due to the weight difference”. Self mocking helped.

Wishing you all the best sir. You’ll be okay. Okay slightly lob sided but okay.
