For those that have experienced side effects, please don't forget to report them to the yellow card scheme. You will have received details of this when you had the jabs

if your autoimmune response kicks in then you are not in a good place. If you're feeling unwell because you're immune system has started working(fever, high temp etc)then that's a positive sign. Huge difference.

Temperature/fever, headache, fatigue, aching arm/shoulder are all common side effects of the Pfizer (and other) vaccines. They're also side effects of many other vaccines, e.g flu vaccine etc.

Hi nothing after the first , but had the second 6 days ago and after day 3 developed a pain literally deep inside chest in the heart area . I’ve strained muscles dozens of times nothing like this , day 4 in absolute agony couldn’t lift my arm

Day 5 90 percent better I’ve never had a muscle strain disappear that quick

Still having little niggly pains and even easy tasks I’m sweating like I’m running a marathon .

I’m 39 wondering if I had the heart enlargement side affect ???

E had the same jab at the same time and felt nothing whatsoever perfect

"Hey guys,,

Raised temperature, sore arm, headache, joint ache and muscular pain are all normal side effects. Should only last 2-3 days.

I have the side effects list I my head as I've given so many vaccines.

Pfizer jab. I had pins and needles in my fingers which over 3 days went up my arm and it felt weak. It's 7 weeks now and my finger tips are mostly numb and have little use of my left hand or arm. Had brain scans and stuff. They are arguing amoung themselves (doctors) over if it's the jab or migraine that caused it. Except I didn't have a migraine around that time.

Got AZ and just felt tired for a day. I have jabbed over 400 people now as a volunteer vaccinator and all the 2nd dose people I saw reported only minor side effects. Of course it's anecdotal. The sore arm thing is because you get a fucking needle in your arm, that's all, you wimps.

"Cuba has a good vaccine in fact Cuba has an excellent national health service."

Cuba does have an excellent health system yes. It has the greatest number of medical professionals per capita in the world. It also has some promising vaccine candidates under the same technology as Novavax (protein subunit vaccine). However, only 21% of Cubans had one dose so far and technically, none of its vaccines are approved for emergency use in Cuba yet. It has had less impact than neighbouring countries due to its superior medical system and plethora of medics. It is now struggling to contain the Delta variant and has switched to home isolation instead of medical centres because the numbers are too large.

All in all, I don't think Cuba's outcomes to date are due to vaccines with such small numbers inoculated.

They have five vaccine CANDIDATES, yes. None yet approved by their regulatory bodies but promising nonetheless. The technology is the same as Novavax (protein subunit).

Cuban vaccines aren't approved by their own regulator. They're hardly "on the market". The Chinese made some vaccines too. They're next to useless. The Russians made Sputnik but refuse to release their safety and efficacy data so the MHRA can hardly approve something they can't check out!

In summary, the ones we have sufficient data for and where manufacturers have submitted applications for approval, have been approved here.

I had a badish reaction to the second vaccine but nothing from the first one...

I was vomitting for 10 days and could not keep any anything( no water nothing ) down for a day and couldn't keep food down for 10 days until I went to the Dr's and am now on meds for 3 weeks... I am quiet apprensive about the booster vaccine each year.

I have heard that if you have had covid then you will have a reaction to the Pfizer vaccine.

Everyone reacts differently. E.g I had Covid in early April 2020, had the Pfizer vaccine and not a sausage of a side effect, other than a slightly sore arm. Based on the second dose-ers I see coming through the clinic, far fewer are reporting significant side effects compared to the Oxford-AZ and few people report anything significant. Obviously some people WILL have more long lasting or more severe side effects, though this seems to be very much the minority.

Only sore arm after the first jab, sore arm for a few days after the second too and then a few days later I started feeling shooting pain in my breast. Apparently it has something to do with enlarged lymph nodes, but it's getting better now.
