Great to see them back in the stadium. Seeing their reaction when their team wins or loses.

Hearing the noise is just amazing, took it for granted and didnt know how special it is.

Went the other way for me once there were no crowds footie became pretty boring for me,much rather be at a gig or party now in big crowd than pay to watch people kick a ball about for 90 mins, didnt even know chelsea had won the champions leauge until a cpl of days later and no idea how they got on this weekend

Never been to a football match.

I'd end up being really mouthy and being too involved

Really excited about next Saturday at 3pm. First live game since Feb 20.

All we next is a rock concert and I’m happy as pigs in shit.

And very important for the lower league clubs too.

Was at my local Championship game yesterday. Over 10,500 fans and not a single mask to be seen amongst them.

Lovely to see.

Nah, it’s great to see. There’ll be variants forever, the sensible are getting on with life (and have done for a while now).

I swear I don’t know what some people thought about before covid, it’s taken over their life.

Some would say getting on a tin can with a recycled air supply is reckless

each to their own

Some would only say that if they didn't know what they were talking about.

The recycled air is filtered (filter size WILL stop Covid) and all air is completely refreshed from outside every few minutes.

Far safer than a pub or workplace, even with the windows open.

I wouldn’t recommend opening the windows on a plane

It anounced on radio to day that the first football match after opening up was directly linked to 9000 new cases on track and trace

"It anounced on radio to day that the first football match after opening up was directly linked to 9000 new cases on track and trace"

That's not correct at all. The 9000 cases was a result of England's entire run to the Euro final and included far more infections from people not at the games than actually at them.

https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-englands-run-to-euro-2020-final-caused-significant-risk-to-public-health-says-study-12386465

9000 cases out of several hundred thousand over the month of the tournament. Nothing to see here.

Covid is most definitely not over but we do have to balance risks and get on with life.

Norwich

Hard to beat the excitement and atmosphere of watching a football game at the stadium. On the other hand, I enjoyed last season - without the fans, there were more goals and less of a home advantage, making the games less predictable.
