Hi Folks,

With regards the test required to return to UK

Has anyone used an online provider for the supply of the tests and certification.

Thanks

There have been a few posts about the tests that people have used. It may be possible to find some of them from searching. A lot want lots of notice before your departure, to get kits for you.

There are discounts via airlines and possibly airports too - to help you with affordability. I'd also look for reviews elsewhere. Have a great holiday!

I was in Palma a couple of weeks ago, walked in to a test lab at 07:30 in the morning, had the results an hour later and caught my flight back at 10:30. Simple.

That's a good idea to search for your destination location and to check testing facilities for sale.

OP may also want to book his test after return option too, done in the UK - in England, they stipulate that they must be booked before departure and the details submitted via the official travel locater. I've not travelled, unlike you, so you may have detailed knowledge of this too

I'm exempt, put that on my TLF, was questioned on arrival in the UK, showed my papers and that was it. Even if you're not exempt, it's a simple matter of booking a test here before you go and including that on your TLF to come back.

I fall in to one of the exempt categories.

kinky land

I've got lfts in the safe ready for our return. I ordered them via chronomics (via tui) and they arrived before we departed.

My daughter and I will do them the day before we fly home. We take the tests here in our room, email an image of the results with our unique passenger numbers (provided with the test before we left UK) and they email back the certificates

Our hotel are happy to print them so I'll travel with paper and electronic copies and we booked pcr (×3) for day 2 after we get home at the same time costing £20pp (1 lft and 1 pcr =£20) so we have the pcr test payment confirmation already printed (we needed it to get out of Manchester)

If it changes to pcr prior to our return then we'll have to find somewhere local to our hotel to do them.

£20 for both 1 PCR and 1 LFT pet person is a really good price, I think!
