Well this has to be good news.

Surprised me too. Particularly the hour long air tests.

Central

It's good news and may help some to return to using more public transport again

It's a miracle. Mass transit systems all clear. Those train companies must be doing an amazing job at cleaning. Maybe get them to do the hospitals as they seem to be stuggling to keep it out.. Despite not letting any patients or visitors in.

This is cautiously good news, but doesn't address maskless idiots breathing on one another in packed cattle cars.

What we really need is data on the infection risks aboard the trains themselves. This information exists, but the industry-funded body the Rail Safety Standards Board (RSSB) is withholding it.

I personally think this should be a massive scandal, but since it only affects us peasants who rely on public transport and not the car-driving master race, nobody seems to give a shit.

hiding from cock pics.

That seems absolutely incredible, with the amount of people passing through and the fact they are not continually cleaning, and that it's impossible to actually clean everything out the air. Absolutely brilliant news.

Good news if true. But Covid is a repiratory illness, so the real problem is other people breathing near you.

Gimme the test results on the air in crowded carriages. Oh wait, they have that but won’t release it. The WHO knew covid was an airborn virus at the end of last year, but helpfully said nothing. No doubt the profit-hungry train cuntpanies are hoping the virus won’t cause too many of their customers to perish. Not surprising with an annual season ticket costing £4600 for London. Now, if the virus is fartborn as well, the underground has a problem

North West

The readings were done in January (during the lockdown) and early June (before the relaxation of many restrictions). Would be interesting to see the same results on a rainy Monday in October (assuming no masks or social distancing mandated).

Haha... Pretty significant... The devil is indeed in the detail... Still... If you want to achieve a particular outcome... Its quite a savvie time and date to perform the experiment. Nice work phe/ons..
