Couldn’t even make it to freedom day… it’s not he wasn’t at Wembley last weekend ( spoiler.. he was!) and hasn’t been glad handing for photo ops at care homes (spoiler.. he has!) and even had a one on one face to face meeting with the pm (spoiler.. he did!)

I mean… just imagine the pms phone has pinged today…

You would have thought after all the gun ho attitude to opening up everything at warp speed you think he would have been more careful….

Anyway…. T’s and P’s…. Blah blah

Be interesting to see how many of the higher ups at the department of health will now have to self isolate plus people in cabinet

which highlights the issue of vaccinated people being pinged and following the crippling requirement of isolating etc..

Ha freedom day is an interesting phrase to use. What exactly are we free of. Free to catch covid? Free of our senses. Or free to go back to a shit job with long hours and little pay. Some of us were smart enough to hate normal before covid, going back to a world that was falling apart even before this crap just seems dumb. Most people who survive lung cancer don't usually start smoking again.

WE have the freedom to be pinged by an App that is over priced and clearly not fit for purpose (oh no sorry it wont because i have never downloaded it and never will). 30% of our staff have been pinged, including someone who was told they had been in contact with a covid positive person on day 8 of isolation from the last ping she had.

she had not been out of the house for 8 days never mind on the one the app said she had been in contact with someone, and it seems she now has to stay in for another ten days .... really !

welcome to the world of Boris and his cronies paying other cronies for not fit for purpose stuff with our money.

on freedom day, just stay away from me please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Considering most of the Metropolitan Line had to shut today as the control centre staff had either tested positive or been pinged by the app. Also other lines were understaffed due to this.

Doubt it. Johnson has lied continually. He's fucked up the pandemic response, costing many lives. He's embroiled in corruption. He's defended the indefensible when it comes to Hancock and Cummings breaking the rules.

Johnson's supporter don't seem to care about any of it. I doubt they'd care about any new shit Johnson pulls either.

You can do and be anything you want with hard work etc instead of moaning about it. Finally number 4...The world and your country us what it is. LIVE WITH IT ffs. WOW!!!!

I took that person's contribution as a 'tongue in cheek' outlook...

As for the job circuit, I'd say it's a minority, that are in a job they totally like with pay they definitely deserve.

Through different circumstances, lots of people can't better themselves! They might have to consider other more vulnerable people they're responsible for, at that particular time.

No of course not but as always in this country the mentality of fuck everyone else seems to be the prevailing factor. The lowest step on the pyramid is always the biggest. I'm just thinking of the millions of low paid workers forced to work in unsafe conditions.

Thank you for understanding basic sarcasm.

But for some of you thank you for illustrating the selfish nature that hides in your heart. Of course not everyone has a shit job with no money. But what you slightly more wealthy middle classes never understood is that the poor class always outnumber the rest. So when I hear you coming back with your pre programmed response of 'not everyone' what you mean is 'I'.

"PCR was indeed invented by a man called Kary B. Mullis, who died in August 2019 long before Covid-19 began to spread in December 2019.

He didn’t say PCR testing couldn’t be used for testing for any diseases, as some social media posts claim. Confusion seems to have arisen from quotes of his in a 1996 article about HIV and AIDS. In this, neither the author of the article, nor Dr Mullis said PCR testing does not work or only identifies the DNA or RNA of the person being tested.

The author actually quotes Dr Mullis as saying “Quantitative PCR is an oxymoron” within the context of testing viral load (the amount of virus present) in people with HIV. This doesn’t mean he thought PCR testing didn’t work at all, but that there are limitations in detecting the specific levels of a virus from a sample using PCR testing"

There are plenty of accurate sources on the web to find information.

Social media is not one of them.

Neither are the 'conspiracy-theory' websites.

Neither are the 'prepper' websites.

Plenty of university sources, the NHS is a good source, and even wiki...as long as you check the edits list.

I love it when someone makes a false claim and says "all researchable"

And 30 seconds research knocks the claim to the ground like a sledgehammer.

I've seen him post the same erroneous claim before, every time it gets shot down in flames.

What's that definition of insanity?
