It's most certainly had an impact on communication. I've had to ask people to repeat themselves a lot.

I'm still going to largely wear masks indoors.

You can actually get face masks with a clear bit over the mouth area to help those people who may have to lip read

Yes and I saw that all the major supermarkets have said they will still require staff to wear them and strongly advise customers to wear them too.

I dont see people that dont put something on there face as an idiot at all.

There is now exceptionally mixed messaging so people will do what they feel is best for them.

Thank you.

I get that face coverings are an emotive issue but I don't think calling people names is ever helpful.

I understand that but you have no idea if it has anything to with someone not wearing a face covering.

I hope you recover well.

So what’s your plan? Stay in forever.

I can’t wait for Monday. The mask is going firmly in the bin.

I'm not making light of any people that have passed away, but we have up to 100 people die a day per flu season as a norm that we accept, covid-19 is going to be more it’s just how high do we accept before we ask for change

(Approximation of 20,000 dying over 6 months flu season in case any asks about figures)

I think that masks also effect the sound of peoples voice slightly making it less defined.

It’s the fact the the 60 figure can double every 2 weeks or less means I’m around a month we could be getting a 1,000 deaths a day again

Yes just watching the news, looks like most shops will still request we wear masks, also GP surgeries..makes sense to me.

Me too but obviously there are valid reasons why some people can’t wear masks which I respect. Personally I’ll be wearing one for the foreseeable future!

I'm absolutely sick of the selfish people.

And really sick that they are also tarring the people who can't wear masks.

I haven't noticed a difference for me personally but I have noticed from older people trying to get close to you when you are talking so they can here you. Maybe the mask muffles the noise.

Lip reading is not as you would think solely about the lips, it should really be ca;;ed face reading as the whole face is involved
