So I just wanted to see what people’s opinions were about….

If you have had both vaccinations, and have your card to prove it….. would you feel comfortable playing in a club?

This is of course hypothetically, and wonder if this could be a thing when more of the population have had the vacine?!?

Definitely. Why not? Just wear a mask out so you can’t spread anything

I'd think nothing of "playing" meeting now I've been vaccinated.

Yes.

At the end of the day I could l catch covid in the pub or in the local supermarket. Yes, physical contact increases risks but at some point, you get on with it and live with the risk. Theres risk driving the car to a club but no one fears getting behind the wheel.

We only have so many years on this planet and over 1 has already been taken away through no fault of our own. We all have to make our own decisions and we would happily go to a vaccinated club event as we would feel the risk is as low as it's going to get.

O feel much more confident now that iv had both vaccinations.

I feel I'm less at risk and less of a risk to others.

There will always be the possibility that I can catch and spread covid but I feel iv taken every precaution I can and will continue to do so, everything is a risk assessment.

Central

As it provides about as much protection, beyond physical, practical precautions and having rapid test negative results, it's a reasonable next step. I thought the uk only covid passports could have been a possible good measure, if we'd managed to get partial reopening earlier than now, like Israel did.

I had both..but being vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t get it or spread it..only won’t effect you

I still want to wait a while until the positive test numbers are down again. I know that it's impossible to wait for covid to be completely gone; if nothing else while ever it's somewhere else in the world it will keep being brought back into the country. However if it becomes apparent that the R0 number within the vaccinated population has consistently gone below 1, it will give reassurance that any outbreak will naturally damp itself out rather than spreading into a new wave.

For me that'll mean that the chance of even coming into contact with anyone infectious is as low as it ever will be. I'm hoping that this will happen in just the next two or three months, and then I'll be happy to start socialising with other people again.

Stay safe everyone, Polly xx

Hi Polly. For me my thoughts on this are the same as Nicola Sturgeons and I think her press conference yesterday should be watched by everyone. This next month is about getting as many people as possible vaccinated. Mainly cause of what long covid can do to people, then we are going to have to live with it.

Both of us had both jabs and Covid early last year. Think we're immortal now lol. We'd play in clubs or house parties now

I won’t be playing for sometime anyway but I think I would feel safer vaccinated and rapid flow tests done

Yes both had all our vaccines now , and there is a risk to everything in life ,I don’t stop going on holiday when I hear of a plane crash , you only get one life , we lost one of our swinging friends to cancer , he was diagnosed and dead within six months , so rather have fun with what ever time we have left than live miserly, yes still take precautions but no way living like recluses
