Wearing masks where????

I have to come to England or Chichester to be exact on Thursday and was just wondering if it’s compulsory to wear masks anywhere?????

I will probably only go to a supermarket and the town center and maybe a couple of shops and of course I know by law I have to go to Greggs for a steak bake so any factual advice is greatly received.

masks are compolsary in all shops, cafes, restraunts and pubs ECT except for when seated at your table but must be worn when moving around inside, they are not compulsory in outdoor spaces hope this helps

Many thanks so much the same as here but we wear them outside in public places.

Not looking forward to it at all.

I’ve just been told that I’m not allowed to get out of the van when I pick my daughter up at college and staff will load it for me.

lots of us do wear masks still in open spaces as so many don't seem to understand what social distancing is or how to wear masks correctly since I am a carer for a family member even though I am double vaccinated I still don't want to take risks

I feel your pain as I’m a chronic diabetic with breathing and circulation problems and here in our area everyone wears masks and when we watch the British news it seems that many people don’t wear them but that’s their choice I suppose.

Thanks again for your help.

Check shop doors- some have limits on the number of people who are allowed inside.

Unfortunately some people where I live can't count up to 6.

Good luck with your daughter.

Cheers outsider we had hoped that she would of been able to get the euro star with her brothers help and special assistance at the station but she’s in such a bad place at the moment I’m having to drive over and pick her up but then it’s what we do as parents.

She can’t even get to the chemist under her own steam to get her antigen test Thursday morning bless her but thankfully this is just a small blip and she has progressed so well thanks to the college over the past two years bless her.

Before we found airport assistance which is fantastic one time her brother brought a one way ticket and got her to the gate and explained the problem then said he had to go home which only cost 80e but worth it.

"Not worn one from the start , won’t wear one . "

yet you will I'm sure happily wear a face covering if you are harvesting? filling/cleaning feed hoppers..or maybe even when working with chemicals mixing them etc..possibly even doing a spot of sanding down of something on a diy job

because even though sometimes particles are so small you can't see them you don't want to inhale anything that is in the air when you are working right?

exactly!

Yes for most of the above what you say , but not for a fake virus , each to their own if you really believe all that your spoon feed from Boris and the media carry on "

them you just contradicted yourself..look at the scientific evidence of what we breathe in everyday..carcinogens all over the place..look at how working in a farm is actually bloody dangerous and yet for decades old farmers refused to wear a mask say if mixing some crop spray or even mucking out ( I have done it so I know that could actually kill you ) Point being people ignored the science and now don't..so who is to say the science is not right now and people need to change their ways?/

Is that the steak bake or the vegan sausage roll? Works better to put in mouth rather than strapping over the nose...

There is no scientific proof that the mask is 100% efficient against the virus. Even hospital grade ones are 97%.

Also wearing mask is not the only precautions, wash your hands too. People wear mask in supermarkets but then touch everything in the aisle and put it back on!!

And change your mask as often as possible… I saw some wearing dirty ones lol! Whats that will do.

She dropped out of school at 15 and basically lived in her bedroom til she was 17 and the two weeks before the new started declared that she wanted to go back to school but in England and she had found a course at Chichester college which accepted her and we got her there for the start of year.

The college have been brilliant and to be fair she’s smashing her course but she’s struggled this last month so I’ve no problem with taking a roadtrip to get her because even though she’s 20 she still needs support which I never received from anywhere growing up and at 57 I’m still learning to live with my aspies!!!

To be honest I’ve not been in this forum much but bloody hell just in thus crap thread some posts are amazingly left field but it’s their views and even if I don’t hold the same views I’d die defending their right to hold their views!!!!

The problem I personally have coming over is that we feel so safe here as every one wears masks and disinfects their hands and the impression I get is that it’s not the same in the UK but we will just proceed with caution.

France started off terrible on the vaccine front but now are flying and our two youngest (16+20) are being done on Monday if we make it back.
