No Covid PCR testing doesn’t give a positive for those with colds

At least not to the strain of cold doing the rounds locally. I know plenty who have had PCR tests whilst having symptoms of a cold virus, mostly primary kids or their parents. None have came back with a positive test result.

Couldn’t they just create a reliable test? They’ve created a vaccine but can’t create a fully reliable test. Amateurs!

I think we've had them all along but some of the tinny types like to confuse things for us

Maybe. Been out twice in the last week though, and my boss has proper COVID.

I’m having antihistamines routinely to try and avoid hay fever.

In response to some gov data sent to me to try and convince me that tests are pointless. It has been pointed out that the tests seem to be unable to tell between live virus and dead virus...

This is made clear as when you try to register a pcr test or asks you If you have had a positive test in a certain time frame x
