Side effects from jab

Hi, just querying really

Im the person who has had the odd side effects post jabs ( yippee both done)

I am the person who felt as though someone had spiked my drink, staggered home and nearly fell into a bush at 8.30 am much to the disgust of passers by.

I was talking to someone last week who mentioned they have had a lot of nosebleeds since which triggered as ive had at least 4 a week since being jabbed just put it down to bad hay-fever.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks, have a Super Sunday

It’s probably the microchips, maybe update your firmware to version 0.6.1.

Beyond the shadows.

I must have been really lucky I didn't have any side effects either time. I was hoping for xray vision but oh well

I’m pretty sure the leaflet says about side effects and to contact your GP or 111.

Everyone reacts differently, I had no side effects but I had COVID in March last year.

You need to seek health advice for you

I had a severe reaction to my first - a bad duvet day, in effect.

Prepared to do it again when I have my next jab. More than worth it

Felt like I'd been hit by a truck 10 or so hours after having it and felt like that with the worst hangover ever on top and a temperature over 100 for a couple of days after my first one and headaches lasted over a week, next to no energy, arm tender at injection site and just didn't feel right at all for about a fortnight, wasn't looking forward to having the 2nd as I'm back at work now and we're too short staffed for me to have needed 2-3 days off but had 2nd jab yesterday morning before going to work and other than a slightly sore arm and a mild dull headache I'm absolutely fine this time thank goodness. Nurse yesterday told me that astra Zeneca people tend to feel worse after the first one and Pfizer it's the other way round and side effects people experience differ depending on which vaccine they get. Alex gets his 1st jab on Friday so here's hoping he only gets the symptoms I've had this time??

AZ in March - had a couple of duvet days (just tired, not pain) and mild headaches a couple of days.

Got my second jab yesterday, nothing so far, not even sore at injection site.

Husband had AZ in April, no side effects at all. He was more ill after regular flu jab last autumn.

City Centre Hotel

Had my jab in Friday and felt pretty crappy until Sunday morning. Weirdest thing was my sense of smell. I had the virus last November and lost my sense of taste and smell. Before that, I loved the smell of coffee (despite not liking the taste). Once my sense of smell returned, the smell of coffee was horrible - really pungent. Bizarrely, made a coffee on Sunday morning and the lovely aroma has returned. It's like the first jab has helped return my sense of smell to it's original state, which shouldn't happen in such a short amount of time. Very weird!

In your bed

Bit of a sore head and arm, all over after 24 hours.

But it will differ person to person as immune responses are individual.

E.g. I rarely catch colds but when I do it can take me down for 24 hrs then done. Whereas my other half gets more colds and they linger longer, but do not tend to get to high impact levels.

Agreed my card said anything lasting longer than 2-3 days and you need to report it. Could be a severe reaction or could be you caught covid after your dose.

Importantly if it is an adverse reaction, reporting it will help improve vaccine developments for the next generation of products created.

local, but not too local

Tbh a testicular cyst is more likely to be making you ill than the vaccine.

All the reported side effects I’ve heard / had are the same as general illness.

Long Covid seems indistinguishable from other long term virus reactions.

All that said, I’ve 2nd jab soon and I’m hoping it doesn’t affect me.

No symptoms at all from first AZ. Then randomly chosen for an antibody test which said I had none which was a bit worrying. Hopefully I am making some as I type because I managed to catch Covid just before having the second dose last Wednesday. I thought I had some from that but it turned out to be the disease itself, which isn’t pleasant. Mrs had second jab the same day with virtually no symptoms though did with the first, though difficult to say what was jab, what was a cold and what was period.

Most people I know have had side affects, ranging from 8 weeks after having no energy and head aches to being laid out for a few days.

We are tampering with our immune system. There has to be side affects, some will be unknown to the medical experts.

This level of vaccination with drugs that have effectively been rushed through will have unknown effects med to long term.

People need to advertise their affects freely without being critised/ mick taken out of for it, like a few have done here.

Well done op and keep safe and reporting how you are feeling

"I had a severe reaction to my first - a bad duvet day, in effect.

Prepared to do it again when I have my next jab. More than worth it

I felt like crap for a day with the 1st one but no affect at all with the 2nd so i wouldn't worry too much as you could well be the same and couple of my family were exactly the same."

I'm not worried

If I got the Oxford, then odds are I won't get side effects because most people seem to get it with the first then not the second.

If I got the experimental vaccine then who knows.

"

People need to advertise their affects freely without being critised/ mick taken out of for it, like a few have done here."

I felt like dog shit after my first jab.

I've been very open about that.

Hope this helps
