Excruciating Vaccination Experience

By (user no longer on site) OP

When I had my two jabs I had to attend the Ethiad in Manchester, home of Manchester City. As a Liverpool fan I am sure most of you can understand just how hard and painful this was...

As for the vaccination... alongside 999 other people that day on the site, it was totally uneventful.

Mwah x

East Sussex

My first vaccination was in a horrible dingy basement and I had to queue for ages on concrete stairs behind a man who was desperate for a wee. The second was in a much more pleasant place, I queued outside in the sunshine and was in and out in about twenty minutes. The entertainment was people trying to park in and reverse out of very small spaces

I had mine at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough. As a Newcastle United fan it's one of the few places where I can carry a sense of football superiority.

Mine was awful. There was no car park, i had to find a space on the street and walk 50 metres to get back to the vaccination centre. Then afterwards they made me sit outdoors for 15 minutes, it was windy and my hair got blown about!

Just think how much better the experience would have been if it had been at Old Trafford.

Careful the conspiracy theorists will start trying to join some dots!

As a Liverpool fan that was an unbelievable infringement of your civil and human rights!

Quite funny though

I had to park in a different part of town, and even had to pay a parking fee. To top it all off, i had to climb two sets of stairs to get to my appointment.

I felt the same when they opened a field hospital at Parc Y Scarlets in Llanelli (the Ospreys closest rivals) Professed I would rather be left to it than be treated there

Be happy in the knowledge that you and the other 999 created more of an atmosphere than on a normal match day

I had to do my vaccinator training at Man U. A mural of Ryan fecking Giggs watched my every move from 08:30 to 17:30. It was horrible, and the tea was shite

I feel your pain OP...

As a west ham fan if I had been asked to go to white hart lane for my 2nd jab I might have taken my chances with the virus but luckily they sent me to the local IKEA store instead

Land of the Long White Cloud

I had to be escorted to the toilet after my second jab as I was so desperate for a pee and was only a few minutes in to my 20 mins of supervision post-injection.
