People who turn 40 before 1st July this year are being invited to book but no-one younger yet (unless in one of the earlier at risk groups).

I know quite a few people in their 30s who have now had the jab. This is in the Worcs / Bham area, so some areas are ahead in the covid rollout by the look of it.

They might have been covered by one of the other priority groups or managed to get spares as a walk in. Only people aged over 40 on the 1st July can book a vaccine through the NHS vaccine website.

Think they were contacted by their GP in both cases. Definately not walk ins or had medical conditions. All good to see more of the population getting jabbed.

Yes indeed. Too much good news could lead to a 3rd,4th,5th,6th7th,8th,9th, 10th,...

... wave if we're not careful for the rest of time.

A lad we know aged 36 is getting his first jab on Friday, no underlying health issues. He is in Cheshire and they appear to be really cracking on with it there.

That's good news! Still over 40s here in GM, but younger people are being vaccinated as walk ins or carers to older people etc.

Nothing "nasty" about AZ vaccine, had both mine and no problems whatsoever....Yes, there have been a few issues out of many millions, but there have also been issues with other providers including Pfizer which seem to go under the radar on the mainstream news outlets

nothing nasty about it, there is more chance of getting a blood clot from the contraceptive pill then the vaccine

But no mass hysteria about the contraceptive pill strangely.

"

There are people who don’t take it though due to its side effects/potential side effects. There are lots of people who wouldn’t benefit from taking the contraceptive pill. There is more hysteria (apt) around those not taking a vaccine.
