Vaccine and testing

If your not wanting to have the vaccine ( which is everyone's right)

Will you be happy to do the testing regime instead?

Just curious as seem to be seeing that people who don't want to vaccinate, also are against tests.

I get my second jab on Tuesday but I’m intrigued to know how you are going to know whether members of the public have tested negative..

In my opinion the two things are strongly linked and connected to a distrust of the media, big pharma and governments, personally I avoid medical intrusion as much as possible and as painful as isolating myself is I'd rather do that to keep myself and others safe, I don't expect anyone else to follow my lead nor do I judge anyone else's choices.

You have to hope people have enough common sense to know they need to at least agree to testing.

I really can't see people being allowed back into large venues, pubs, concerts etc without proof of proving their Covid state before being admitted. Also if I'm really honest I would be very disappointed if that was not the case for us all.. Certainly until Christmas at least.

Of course there's going to be some genuine cases who can't do the whole 'invasive' aspect of Lfts. However, I think for everyone else we really need them.

I am sure the opinion will be divided but I am really not going to feel comfortable being in any place other than my own home where people are either not vaccinated or have not been tested.. Surely we need that now for the good of us all.. Almost as a mandatory thing rather than an optional one.. My opinion only but there it is.

Some are also nervous of the vaccine and also cannot afford to isolate if they test positive

And of the 2 persons I know who have used these over the counter kits, one had false positive and missed 2 days employment, waiting for the result of a second test.

I see society split 3 ways, those that will vaccinate and test, those that will not vaccinate and shield from others and may or may not test, and sadly, others who think Bill Gates will control their head.

Valid statement Gemini, I had my second jab last week, and in contrast to my first, the guy who administered my jab, spent a good 5 minutes convincing me that astra vaccine was safe? And go to my Doctor if I get headaches over the next few days. Gemini, It is what they say it is, because they control the power of suppression, which I really think is the agenda, but what do I know. Be lucky, Reggie

I'm not against the vaccine but after watching the way testing was done via the post I wouldn't recommend this unless in person

I believe in my immune system and natural medicine so no vaccine for me. I do get tested very often due to my work so no problem here.

Central

Other countries, including Denmark, Israel and others, have been using fairly widespread test and vaccination status to permit access to many services.

Although we did widespread use of site visit tracking last year, I'm not sensing that much is proposed for this year, including venue prior testing or vaccination status checks. It's a bit different for when we may visit countries as guests.

We may just have to wait and see, as the government has been slow to progress many things, including not starting foreign travel negotiations until we were almost at the deadline. Perhaps testing etc will be widespread. I'll have no problem with it.

Supermarkets, local shops etc I doubt they’ll be asking for test status. So as much as I can see why someone maybe nervous I think they are going to have to accept the risk or restrict their lives.

It is all just guesswork at the moment about possible restrictions so I will keep on reading up on progress as it evolves and make my choices from there
