When can we meet indoors?

While the resumption of the Rule of Six formed part of step one of England’s roadmap, indoor visits cannot resume until step three.

This will come into effect no sooner than Monday 17 May, depending on the Government’s four tests (outlined below) being fulfilled.

but the regulations or social distancing will not be lifted till june, so whilst it will be possible to meet inside your home, you are still required to observe the 2 mtr restriction

see I was under the impression that two households or 6 people could meet inside and hug etc from that date.

Although I will confess that if a family member or friend needed a hug then I would give them a hug regardless

Northampton Somewhere

I read this morning that Dominic Raab said that social distancing and masks *might* have to stay in place.

Are some people really waiting for clowns in government to tell you that you can invite someone for coffee or drink in your home, park or anywhere else??

Are we all aware that these Covid Rules are compiled by the “Eton Party Games Club” and “Simon Says”.

"has anyone told the virus yet?"

No need, it's a clever virus. It can work out when 10pm is at a pub, and can also decide not to infect you if you spend money in a shop.

Am I waiting until it's no longer illegal to do things that right now are breaking the law?

Umm yeah. I try not to be a criminal.

No, I thought it'd be a much safer plan to follow the advice of someone on a swingers site with a penis as a profile pic. They're bound to know better than the government experts

I say ignore the Goverment and keep isolating. Keep your masks on and travel locally only. Keep working from home if you can.

My understanding is that the government has 7 or 10 days notice in changes. So I am fussing we will know either Friday or Monday if the rules change
