I am 53 years old man living in North London with a history of chest problems.I am having my 2nd Covid19 jab on Tuesday 27th April. I am a bit curious as to how other parts of the UK and age groups are doing with regards to how quickly they are been seen for their jab.

Hi well as part of the shielded group I got my 2nd Jag yesterday. I know it's not a cure but happy to have it done and hopefully helps in the reduction of cases. Let's get back to some kind of normality "

46 here with a slight underlying health condition that has done 2 things regarding the vaccine which is a bit strange.

A: I qualified for my 1st shot early February before the rest of my age range due to health reasons but have to wait for my 2nd appointment to be also text around 11 weeks afterwards.

B: As i have to wait for my 2nd shot date to be text to me around 11 weeks after my 1st everyone else who then were told to book themselves in afterwards could also book their 2nd jab while at the 1st appointment on a much shorter time frame meaning healthy people end up getting both shots within less time as some with underlying health conditions, which seems a bit odd

Fit and healthy over 45.

Had my 1st jab last Saturday and get my second in early July.

My parents are in their 70s and had their second jab last week.

It's a balancing act between getting everyone the first vaccination and some immunity and getting the most vulnerable maximum immunity.

My father (90) had his second AstraZeneca jab on Thursday. He was worse with this one, vomiting and very sleepy for 48 hours. Fine now. (I male had the Pfizer about 6 weeks ago awaiting 2nd call up. Female had 2nd AstraZeneca on Thursday too. In caring profession).

Parents in their 60s only just got their 2nd jab in Worcestershire despite Mum suffering with COPD.

I'm 39 with no health issues and just been offered first jab in Warwickshire.

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

Had my 1st injection (Phizer) in early January and my 2nd (Phizer) at end of March.

Pleased to say I had no after effects from either jab, being in my 80s I was lucky enough to get into the fist round of vaccinations.

The mass vaccination centres were booking seconds when you had first but the GP surgeries (which I presume is where you had yours) are 11 weeks. We can't give appointments when doing firsts as we dont have confirmed dates as to what stock we will have in that far in advance.

Ok so looking at some of the posts it seems North London where I am based is doing well with the Covid19 jabs compared to some of you.

No, the text to make the appointment came from my doctors surgery but the link was on a NHS website and the locations to choose from were vaccination centres.

Had first shot in Feb, and still waiting to be called in for 2nd shot. Being the Pfizer shot I can't book ahead.

Wish I had the AZ vaccine now. Many at work had first jab after me are now having the second.

Been on the local news up here that 129 people didn't bother turning up for their 2nd jabs yesterday in the Darlington area. Is this now a sign of things to come
