Mask free, even if it is, they will be back for winter.

The experience of this governments handling of this pandemic is that they announce things, or hint things to test the water before official advuce/laws are put in place. They are a populist government which explains their handling of this issue.

This is a gathering of opinion leak.

I do not trust a word they say.

"(I am assuming that they mean indoors etc).

By that logic, it's like saying Covid will be eradicated from the human population by Summer.

Will it ?

No, course not.

Then the mask stays, for those who wish to wear them.

I think many will cautiously still wear them, as large numbers won't be vaccinated until well into the summer and the virus is possibly going to remain at levels similar to now. It's feasible that relaxations may increase the risk too.

I think it'll be removed, along with some distancing requirements, to help hospitality - but I also think that will spread disease at this stage.

I will be wearing one regardless of the restrictions being lifted.

I haven't had a single cold, sore throat or virus since I started wearing one, and I always have had 3+ a year usually.

I'll definitely be keeping it up in supermarkets and on public transport, at least in winter.

"Mask free, even if it is, they will be back for winter.

The experience of this governments handling of this pandemic is that they announce things, or hint things to test the water before official advuce/laws are put in place. They are a populist government which explains their handling of this issue.

This is a gathering of opinion leak.

I do not trust a word they say. "

I heard that, it feels a bit optimistic to me.

I will continue to wear one in shops and at work, especially as I have chosen not to take the vaccine for now.

I suspect that's more down to everyone else wearing one. They mainly protect other people from the user's germs.

I think the problem is, particularly with face coverings rather than medical grade masks, is that the protection exists from everyone/almost everyone wearing a mask.

It'll need to come at some point, but I think at the moment it's premature. Particularly as variants are hitting younger people harder and long term effects in children (can't be vaccinated) is very much a thing.
