It is part of the test plan for large Gatherings..

All attendees will be Covid tested before being allowed in.. Some arguments about how effective tests are.. However I would think at least this is a start to at least try and get live gigs going again.

Currently same system at the Crucible is Sheffield going well..

Unfortunately an attempt to do something at a comedy club in Liverpool was unsuccessful due to the online abuse from the naysayers and anti vaxxer brigade.. Despite the fact that it HD nothing to do with being vaccinated.. Hopefully this mini festival will go ahead.. Last Blossoms album was decent so I would go for sure

I'd go but not that band as never heard of them.

I'm watching all these experiments with interest. Can't wait to get back to theatres and gigs!

This is a good step in the right direction, the live music & theatre sectors have really been hung out to dry for the last year

Wouldn’t go to see blossoms but would definitely go to an event for an artist I was interested in

I've got tickets for gigs at Ally Pally in September, so really hoping all these trials go well.

I'll have had both of my jabs by then too, fingers crossed for it!!

I'll be happier not having to wear a mask every time I leave the house.

I know Merseyside is the test area for many events, as yet nothing has tickled me enough to want to actually go though.

Still if the results are good we can hopefully ditch the masks and all social distancing in June

It's a good idea, we need to find out sooner or later. It's not realistic to expect live events to remain on hiatus indefinitely

Why have they chose Liverpool? is it because it's had a very high number of covid positives along the way?...interested to know why!!

The survival rate for the Rona is 99.8% and I don't know a single person who has died from Covid1984. Does anyone else?

The whole thing is a WEF led pantomime.

If this virus was so deadly why do we need a test to tell us we have it and why do they have to coerse and bribe people into being poisoned by something that hasn't been tested properly?

Anyone who believes this Covid1984 lie needs to give their heads a damned good shake.

Remove yourself from the pantomime, remove your muzzle, refuse the poisoned jab and FFS wake the f*ck up people! A

I don't completely understand really how they can let this gig go ahead, if they are accepting testing on the day, then letting people attend (and if I understand it correctly no masks or social distancing), why not have eateries serving indoors now if people could show show a negative test, I don't really understand how the gig can be allowed to go ahead when it is against current legislation?

It's a trial. Only this one event of this type is happening to test if it's safe. Everyone attending knows it's a trial and are agreeing to the risks.

I've been googling but can't really see very much information about it.

I understand they have to take a test just before at the testing station and then will need to take a test sometime after the concert (although I couldn't work out whether this was the next day or weeks later).

Is that to see how many people then could end up with a positive result and if that would be different to to the same amount of people who hadn't been at the event getting showing a positive test result?

We know that the tests are not completely reliable, and we also know that people can take a while after being inffected to show a positive test result.

I guess I don't really understand about what the results of the test are supposed to show and how.

Yes....4 members of my family have died as a result of COVID, though in your books that's not enough to make you at leat wary of it.

Mercury, autism, the Jews (sorry ),

VAERS, Martians collaborating with the global elite, Covid-21... just a poor effort all around.

Think it’s a good thing to get life back to normal and yes we would go to any event without a muzzle , personally after having both jabs think our risk now is something like .003 per cent of dying from Covid , the journey to any big event will be more dangerous than Covid
