I got the home testing kit through post today and had my first Covid test. The kit works ok and easy enough to use.

Any other Covid test virgins getting their first recently?

It’s got to be a major tool in the armoury and a great step forward

Is that part of the 2 free tests a week? I heard about it but didn't know how you get the tests?

It is a great way to collect sensible data, do you post the results back?

I got it delivered via the gov.uk website. They send 7 kits and I got it in a day

Yes the lateral flow tests work quiet well untill you sneeze so hard whilst trying to get the swab in the reagent solution that you throw all the liquid out of the pot. Thankfully I have only managed to mess one up this way.

Feel left out here in wales dripford has said no need for free testing as lots of people can have a test through their work . Well i am 1 of 20 in my work who cannot get free testimg . So unless you work in the care or nhs sector who else is being tested with work ?

Would be happy to take a test twice weekly if given the option . Even though i ve had 1st jab still travel over 150 miles plus a day with work all over s wales and bristol visiting and deliverimg to building sites. Would feel a lot hapyer for all my family and the people i deliver too if i got tested regularly.

Not unless you want to pay or take up test meant for people who think they have covid. In england and scotland 2 free tests are provided for anyone wheither they think they have covid or not .in wales you can only get a test if you think you have covid or are showing symptons or work in a care home. But you can get s free prescription for ibuprofen or paracetamol. Cost to nhs 3.45 supermarket price 99p

There are different varieties. I'm glad I don't have to swab my throat. Makes me want to throw up lol

I do it every Monday at work, but the home test kits aren't available in scotland...... yet again Sturgeon is well behind England.
