Council licensing teams have been breaking their backs to help businesses. No point in them going under as the Council then doesn't get as much in business rates , people lose jobs so that also impacts on local economy and so on. It therefore depends on how the Club / Pub wants to open. One place i know of wants to open until 4am on the 12th April with no consideration to where they are and the impacts on their neighbours. So if they are asking too much, yes, they wont have their licenses approved. It is understood that businesses have lost revenue but it doesn't give them a green light to do what they want to claw those losses back.

Let's just say that swingers clubs and men's clubs adult cinemas

Will not be opening this year

I have 3 friends working in parliament

There are going to be lots of changes

Lockdown will end with most areas in the tier 4 category until at least Jan Feb 2022

When I can get more info I will post

1. having friends working in parliament had nothing to do with local councils revoking licenses

2. clubs not being able to open because the district is still in a high tier is not councils revoking licenses

i presume you are based in scotland where we are going into a tier system, but nobody can predict tiers from now til early next year so its complete conjecture

I will be very surprised if adult clubs will be allowed to open again before Christmas..

Or..they might be allowed to if masks are worn and social distancing practiced..which will mean no play with anyone other than your partner..

In which case it will be everyone watching and wanking ??.. Might suit some lol

As I say.. I would think Christmas if not 2022 before anything like before happens..

A lot can happen between now and the end of June. Some of the information coming out of Israel lately in regards to community infection rates are looking very good. We could well be in a very similar position by the end of June. Councils will want to keep things like clubs and saunas going as it gives then some control over public health. It will go on whether the like it or not but it will become a public order and public health issue. So no I don't think this is going to happen. There may be delays in opening in some areas. However the vast majority of MP in Parliament will not want to get involved in personal liberty's. There is a great deal of opposition towards covid passports.

No Britain will still be in tier 4 from.the 12th

Pubs and restaurants bookies and other entertainment and will be in tier 4

I'm in Wiltshire not Scotland

And it's a government proposal not local council whom have to take the rules from the government on matters like this

So I'm sorry but it's going to be at least another year before clubs open

Masks will still have to be worn and it looks like there will be a 3 rd vaccine booster the winter coming

The virus won't be less contagious to humans for at least another year

And then it won't ever go because of is form and how it mutates

Just to add our clubs perspective.

We are planning & preparing & be ready for opening after 21st of June BUT.... we are not assuming we will open then!

It is true there are consultations taking place in Birmingham to place such restrictions on adult venues but they are just consultations nogthing more as yet.

The fact is no one knows what going to happen between now and the 21st of June & negative speculation helps no one even if people have 3 MP freinds

All we can do as a club is stay positive and play with the cards we are given as they fall, nogthing more.

If Britain will be in tier 4 from 12th that means no pubs open so why is there debate about vaccine passports or signing in if they will all stay closed til 2022 ? I don't believe what you are telling us, despite you having three friends in parliament.

it is what was said but i think it was very carefully worded

i read restrictions as the bits they put into law about where you can go , who you can meet and when, i still expect there to be an element of masks and social distance

given its been referred to as social distance for a year it just seems strange to have actively avoided saying we expect social distance to be removed if there wasn’t a high chance it was sticking around for a bit

There is a political issue regarding violence against women and sexual predation against women. THAT is under debate now and some councils are getting cold feet over strip clubs, and presumably swinging clubs too.

There is no Westminster plot. The published road map clearly says night clubs will open late June if all goes well.

Plenty of clubs are already advertising events for the last weekend in June.
