I’m surprised there’s not been more about this on social media but Matt Hancock revealed on This Morning there may be a third vaccination which is a new vaccine in the autumn to protect against new variants

The infrastructure is being put in place for the aug/sept boosters, they have been hinting at this for months now, they want to try and get covid-19 and flu vaccines rolled out smoothly ready for the natural winter infection spikes

Covid jab will be a yearly thing along with the flu jab, we just need to adjust and except covid will be here to stay

Had my first one yesterday. Made me feel really bad freezing cold ached all over no sleep at all and this morning got banging headache. If the second jab makes me feel the same not sure I would have one every year

They are working on a combined vaccine so that the over 50's and vulnerable will get protection against flu and covid before the inevitable rise in winter infection.

No surprise whatsoever, it's a changing virus and tweaks will be ongoing for a while..

They've had plans looking at a combined flu and covid jab for some time, which will reduce delivery costs etc. As the majority of the world has still not had any vaccine, covid will be around for some time, throwing mutations up, so until we support all people everywhere getting it, there's a need for continued observation and prevention. Many countries have yet to get a first vaccine. Updates to existing vacancies and new ones, especially those that are easy to store and transport, are going to be needed for some time.

I was so ill with COVID last year that I'll happily have 3 jabs and then a yearly booster to avoid that again!

The more it spreads the more it'll mutate, and the more vaccines will need to be adapted to respond to various mutations.

I have had 2 bad cases of flu over the years .

I wouldn't like a 3rd case

As both cases absolutely floored me.

I'm wondering if reactions to the vaccine reduce with each one.

I only got a dead arm, but some people have been very bad.

I've had the flu jab a few times and never had the flu. It must work.

I had that attitude till I got flu a few Christmases back. I used to get an NHS flu jab then they told me I no longer qualified so I didn't get one privately. Then I got flu..... I started paying for the flu jab the next year and this year they gave me a free one again.....

Sounds like you've been unlucky? Most people I know don't seem to have had anything to speak of in adverse effects. In fact mine was brilliant and gave me the best couple of nights sleep in ages! Maybe check with your doctor and see if another type may be easier for you? I had the Astra one.

Old news and should be no surprise. Annual jabs, especially for vulnerable people, may well become the norm just as flu jabs are.

We routinely deliver 14 million flu jabs every year. Likely a similar number of people will be eligible for an annual covid jab.

Same here, never had a bad case of the flu, neither never needed the flu jab

He first stated this last year, said that it may become a case of having a CV19 booster every year like the seasonal flu jab.

I've spoken to a lot of people who had what they call a bad reaction to the vaccine-both Pfizer and Oxford AZ. Not as bad as dying from Covid though.

I’ve always stated that Virus Mutate so in a few month your old Treatment/ Vaccine not going to work

Like every year you need change flu vaccine

We need to live with it

Coz they can’t vaccinate every one in the world regular and without all the proper test on long term effects on new vaccine

Who going to know what damage or how dangerous it’s is...

Guess the new vaccine will be made in month and passed as safe without all the proper safety check
