Looks like pretty much soon, we will get back to “normal”.

Do you think it will be delayed?

It is also saying that National holiday will be possible after 12 April. If so, will it be possible to visit Scotland?

The rules in Scotland are part of their devolved powers, so entry and movement in Scotland will be according to their rules, whatever is happening in England etc.

The roadmap stages I guess we all hope won't change. Most of all, that infections don't rise again, to start a 4th wave

Yes I do think it will change. As the cooperation requires everyone to be careful at each stage.

It does say vacations but overnight for the domestic household.

We do all need a big change from the lockdown and I for one do not want another lockdown after this one

People booking large group dinner events (50+ people) for the first weekend after 21 Jun. I’m thinking “it won’t take much to knock that completely off”.

I just hope they preserve the gaps between stages and not end up with “stage 2 was late, but we will keep with the same date for stage 3”.

Our concern would be that children have been allowed back to school a little too soon.

The Isle of Man, which has been Covid free for the majority of the last 12 months, is currently experiencing a serious outbreak (in relative terms).

It's relatively easy to compile data through testing here because of the small population of 84000.

It has been proven that younger people are acting as "a bridge" for Covid transmission.

Figures released yesterday reveal that of the current 419 cases on the Island one third of them are in the under 19 age group.

There seems to be 5 week reviews in England from what I saw on the news yesterday.

April 12th

May 17th

June 21st

The last one is the biggie as the Euros start on 22nd June. And BJ want the UK unlocked by then.

Here in Scotland, we are slightly slower I guess.

April 5th Stay at home message to be lifted.

Then not much till April 26th and

Announcement to follow.

It is expected on April 26th we will move back to a stricter tier system.

New covid levels for Scotland when lockdown eases

150 per 100,000 L4

100 per 100,000 L3

50 per 100,000 L2 Travel and pubs can serve alcohol

Current rates vary alot, think Glasgow is about 90 atm.

But with schools returning we shall see.

Not possible for anyone to know as yet, as all along it has been about trying to prevent the health system from being overwhelmed so medical treatment is available to folks who need it. It is up to us the general public to take as much care as we can unfortunately lots don't want to play ball.

So what happens if covid deaths in say 4 weeks are maybe 25 per day ? Maybe Tory MPs will be pushing Boris to let businesses open quicker ? After all, just because a pub is open nobody who is worried about the virus has to visit the pub.

I hope they keep an eye on cases numbers, with particular reference to the ONS survey. If those numbers stays where they are now and R stays below 1 then maybe open sooner but even Prof Whitty says that best case scenario is 30000 further deaths over the summer.

What we do now affects us all year and especially next winter. Next winter we need to be almost clear of this as a problem, when indoors lifestyles, poorer health conditions etc, could support it ravaging through us again. There's absolutely no point in rushing things when we are doing well, as the longer term implications are much worse than suffering now for a small number of weeks.

If you are struggling now, which is natural, please get the help that you may need.
