Am I right in thinking the Covid jab will be yearly like the flu jab?

Is that going to be for be everyone, or just those who would normally have the flu jab?

It's been discussed as a concept, as the virus is not projected to die out. It will likely in part depend on the longevity and strength of protection, as well as emergence of mutations not sufficiently protected against by former vaccines. New vaccines may even be significantly better, reducing the level of someone spreading infection, as well as preventing getting infected, for example.

They might be combined with a flu shot, to reduce the cost/time to administer but will probably be available still as a standalone treatment.

It will depend on various things, including how prolific the virus is in a years time and how long the immunity lasts.

We don't know yet. The hope is that as transmission slows down, mutation will slow down too.
