That week would be the earliest.... any delays on any stage will mean this will go back..... but at least clubs will have 5 weeks notice of what is coming

Yes that’s how I interpreted it too. Much earlier than I had anticipated though.

Technically some clubs “could” open at stage 3.... where you could have the social but no play option which is what some clubs were doing.....but there will be no play in clubs till stage 4......

Also..... notice in stage 4, they talk of the social contact rules being dropped..... does this also mean masks???

I would hope the need for masks in the middle of June would be over.

It certainly looks that way - providing there are no unforeseen problems.

I am sure we'll get more information from the clubs themselves as that date approaches.

Exciting times! We can't wait!

We will certainly open at the earliest opportunity. Keeping everything crossed that it all goes smoothly until then.

Why would local councils break the law ?

A lot of clubs have to adide by local council licensing. That's what I meant. And we all know councils can drag their feet.

If the government say that we are open that is all there is to it. There are few local conditions that would be applied in deference to national conditions. Though local health is one of them, but if a local area is in trouble with regard to an outbreak the government would be the ones stepping in.

Can I be the first to say Happy Birthday in advance? There's nothing better that having a birthday in a club and getting an invite to play,: because it is your special day.

It happened to me!

It's exciting news indeed,I'm a realist though and unfortunately it all depends on getting through 3 tiers without any hiccups. It's possible but from how a minority of people have behaved in the past lockdowns, highly unlikely to be open on that date . I do hope I'm Wrong though.

"

I think the adult entertainment industries will be a little later than June (hopefully I’m wrong). Remember this is all bested on how the Great British public behave when stages are lifted. We didn’t do a great job of sticking to the rules last time

Will be surreal considering we haven’t even been able to shake hands for a year.

Would take a little while for some to get over the ingrained distancing thing.

. Do the government differentiate between nightclubs and what you describe as sex clubs then ? Do we now wait for Boris to announce a date to re-open the Underground club in Kings Cross and similar establishments ?

Yes, nightclubs allowed to open (not before) 21st June.

All dates mentioned were ‘quote’ NOT BEFORE. This means that they will open on that date provided the data is at least where they expect it.

If we don't fuck up, this is the best case.

If we (organisations, public, government) fuck up, it'll be pushed back.
