Manchester (she/her)

If we don't get transmission right down then yes, I think they'll still be here in the summer.

Forever? Hard to say. I think some people - myself included - will choose to wear them in some circumstances during flu season.

Many of us wore full PPE for 12 + hour shifts last summer

Don't see us moaning about it

Lots of people in lots of jobs where PPE it's hard to get use to but you just do.

But it is harder if indoors with the heating on as in a hospital and a patiant has to be kept warm where you can't even get a quick drink etc

That wasn’t the question though was it? Not sure why everything on here has to turn into some weird competition.

I think they may stay for a while. I do feel sorry for those who have to wear them for so long, by the time I've finished my shopping, I'm nearly flaking out with the heat! I'm fine wearing them outdoors though

No competition here

Just giving the OP a different insight

I'd love not to have to wear a mask the samr as the OP would love not to, but it's the least if my worries atm

Hope restrictions change by the summer so the OP doesn't have to suffer further discomfort, and apologies if I have caused the OP any offence

Invest in a mulberry silk mask. They're about £15 but are much easier to breathe through, better for the skin, cooler and give better protection than other masks currently available.

Yes in lots of places I thin mask wearing will be about for longer then we can even think of. I would say some may never stop wearing one when going to sport or where there ate lots of people.
