Day 3 since my jab and just a sore arm but has bruised but that is because of the blood thinner I take and should go in a couple of days.

My arm was really stiff for about 24 hours then I had twinges for quite a while after but its totally fine now. Didn't feel unwell at all. Apparently you can get more flu like symptoms with the second dose but it's just your immune system working. I know a few people who felt unwell after their first dose but it only lasted a day.

Had the Pfizer vaccine.

It was very officiant and quick.

I'm now sat in the observation room for 15 mins before I'm let out.

So pleased my local GP offers the Pfizer vaccine whilst I realise it’s not a choice I wouldn’t mind it but will take what I get soon.

Unless you're allergic to them, it might be worthwhile taking a dose of paracetamol before bed. I wish I had, I felt fine when I went do bed, no sign of any reaction, but by 2:00am I was feverish and a banging headache. I was fine next morning but paracetamol would have at least got rid of the headache

"All good so far.

No sore arm, no sickness and no sign of nanobots taking over and controlling my mind

Are you sure though? Their crafty lil buggers, sneak up on you and when you least expect it... beep beep!!

If I get a sudden urge to go buy a huawei phone with 5G I'll alert you all

Iv got a 5G phone!

Am I going to get superpowers when I get the jab?

No superpowers I'm afraid.

But you do get an invite to sit on the High Council of the Lizard Overlords.

WOW! I'm going to be queen Lizard within a month. "

And you don't even have to have a long tongue (it's an advantage though)

Not yet. And I'm way down on the priority list to receive the vaccine. I believe I can't even request it from my GP. Anyway I'm in no rush I guess. But when I do get it I'm insisting on the Pfeizer Vaccine. I've no idea why the Irish government are administering 3 different types of vaccines

"Day 3 since my jab and just a sore arm but has bruised but that is because of the blood thinner I take and should go in a couple of days. "

You not had any other side effects? You mind if I ask what vaccine you had? I’m due for mine in jest couple weeks, heard a lot of conflicting stories

Had first dose yesterday, az. Not to discourage anyone from having theirs but by 8pm last night I was floored, feeling all feverish and sweat pissing off of me. But wearing off now, bit of a sore arm also.

You can't choose. The vaccination centres don't even know which one they are getting until they are delivered that morning.

The feverishness is a fairly common reaction with the AZ vaccine, it hit ne about 2:00am when I had mine. I was fine again the next morning. Tbh it's a small price I'm happy to pay considering everything

I had the Pfizer yesterday afternoon,

Was somewhat surprised being invited for the vacation as I am 100% healthy and my last visit to the GP was around 33 years ago.

I would have preferred if someone whom needs it more took my slot.

Back to the topic in hand, no side affects whatsoever and not even a sore arm

We have been anyway as Ash had the shielding letter back in March last year. But iv gone from my GP telling me on Monday in not high risk enough for the vaccine to shield as you are extremely high risk and come now the vaccine in 4 days!
