"Second dose today, nothing more than a slightly sore arm."

That's good, I just have a sore arm at the moment, many (ladies) friends have had headaches and hot and cold sweats after 24 hours, with the Astra Zenaca vaccine..

Had my first Pfizer on Friday. No side effects except a local bruise and a dull ache, which is what I get from any injection I've ever had.

My friend had the Pfizer almost a month ago and she got a droopy face, which isnt unheard of and she felt rough for the next two days. I've always believed she's a hypochondriac though, so don't know how much of that I believe to be true or exaggerated.

I work in hospitals and every nurse I speak to say its mainly people who have already had covid or have it currently who are getting the flu like symptoms.

Just remind all these no vaccine believers that they obviously don’t like foreign travel -they will not be able to get holiday insurance for ANY destination

If airlines do permit travel without proof of vaccination, uninsured travel is still self destructive and totally irresponsible

Yes its true.

We are ahead of schedule with a high take up so this is really good news.

By the time the 1st 6 categories are done nearly half the adult population will be vaccinated and that is estimated to finish at the end of April.

Yes its true.

We are ahead of schedule with a high take up so this is really good news.

By the time the 1st 6 categories are done nearly half the adult population will be vaccinated and that is estimated to finish at the end of April. "

That’s brilliant, some positive news at last , good times are coming, there is light at the end of the tunnel

Had the first jab on Sunday. I had the Pfizer version, just a little bit of a sore shoulder and a sudden nausea feeling this morning that passed very quickly. Other than that no issues at all.

Iv just phoned my doctor to about something else and asked about the vaccine.

Was told I'm not on there priority list even though I have 3 of the conditions on the list! They said they would look into it but as I'm not on the list I need to wait! I told her my conditions to be told yes the conditions put me in group 6 but they dont know how to add me!

Thing is side affects aside, if stops a serious hit by the covid then it is well worth it.

After watching a work colleague have a stay with the NHS finest due to covid, having the jab was not a case having it or not, more like when can I have it.

I was really shocked!

They nag me very year to get the flu jab so I must be on some sort of list. The reason I phoned them is because I got a text message asking me to book my diabetes check so they know one diabetic.

Oh Jeez... A small percentage have a bad reaction to the vaccine apparently. I've not had mine yet and I'm way down the line of priority and you can't just go to your GP and request it.

Anyway I'm reluctant to get it also as I had an adverse reaction to a flu jab many years ago. I won't go into it but I was ill for several months after receiving it.

More than likely she did. You have to keep chasing it, I know it's a pain, but you will most likely find it will sort itself out very soon and you know which group you are in, they can't argue with that. Xxx

Ok Thalidomide. A lady refused to sign it off as a safe drug a she had seen information saying it wasn't as safe as claimed. It took until Obama for her bravery for going up against the big Pharm Companies for her to be recognised.

Rotherham. Relevant information being with held, because the Authorities were scared of the outcome of sharing the information and doing anything about it. If you can't can't see a link between misinformation and the authorities, you've got more problems than you realise.

I’ve had the Oxford Astra Zeneca and very happy I am

I did have some side effects - fever, temp, fatigue, bit shaky, but I took paracetamol and all was good

It's the whack job anti vaxers spewing their shite and misinformation that will cost lives.

Hopefully sensible people will ignore these conspiracy theory nutters.

YOU may want to see 10;55 on there !!!

evidence was asked for and now it's posted. Plenty more out there. It's not for me to say what's true and what isn't, and we're all entitled to have an opinion.

If you think I'm going to waste my time watching a Facebook video about vaccine stuff you have another thing coming.

What's next?

A YouTube video link about a forthcoming zombie apocalypse

There is the difference between having an opinion and spreading complete falsehoods.

Yes a friend has been told to wait because they had plasma too.

Did they explain why?

"Second dose today, nothing more than a slightly sore arm.

That's good, I just have a sore arm at the moment, many (ladies) friends have had headaches and hot and cold sweats after 24 hours, with the Astra Zenaca vaccine.."

That is what happened to me

Yes, apparently the plasma ca unteract with the vaccination and make it less effective if you have it too soon, that is why they say leave it 3 months

"Admin, all I am doing is answering the critics. If you don't want this kind of conversation, you should have stopped it from the beginning with the OP.

Ok folks, this has come to my attention. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=527964634817927

The numbers I'm going to give you are the countdown on the right hand side of the video.

38:30 The Covid virus HASN'T been isolated.

16:12 Compares to how Scurvey was regarded.

10:55 about crop spraying, and the chemicals, and how they can affect sexual development.

"

What is wrong with my OP? It was a simple question to ask who had had the vaccine and to compare notes of side effects?

OP asked a straightforward question about who had which vaccination and any side effects. What is the relevance of scurvey and crop spraying to this thread ?

Had it Sunday, (Oxford/A)

I had an awful night, hot/cold feverish, thumping headache all night (my own fault I should have grabbed a couple of paracetamol). Monday morning felt fine apart from the lack of sleep. Last night, slept like a log! When I get the 2nd dose I'll dose up on paracetamol before bed

Would it speed up the vaccination programme if we all stood in a field and got sprayed with it?

"I'll ring in he morning first thing. The lines are so busy right now.

It's very emotional.

A sudden sense of relief.

It has just been announced in the press briefing People with under lying conditions are being prioritised by Gp's so it should be very local and the over 65s are gonna have to go to the mass vaccination centres or wait to be contacted by their GP.

Yes I saw about the underlying health problems earlier, but thought nothing of it.

It's the only good thing to come from being type 1 diabetic.

Yep.

There is a few conditions on the list, all diabetics regardless of type or how well managed it is are included as unfortunately diabetics make up 26% of all deaths.

It's happening quicker than the online calculator.

Last time I checked about 2 weeks ago I was due the vaccine back end of March/April.

"

I'm booked for today!

13.40

2nd dose also booked in for 11th May
