Mrs Leo got a call from the GP surgery at lunchtime....to arrange her vaccination .............. exactly 48 mins after the call she was walking out of the local sports centre with a huge grin on her face ....and jabbed !!!!

Fantastic NHS, well done and thank you.

"And still able to catch Covid and transmit it ??"

Yes so must obey all rules of social distancing, masks, hand washing, and always stay at home

trouble most likely, or creating it :)

"And still able to catch Covid and transmit it ??"
yes but in a limited capacity if the research released this week is true then the vaccine will limit both your ability to catch and transmit..

But social distancing should still be a thing

"And still able to catch Covid and transmit it ??"

Why did you have to bring someone’s good day down ?

Because some people are not happy unless trying to make them as miserable as they are.

The bringing down on their day, not the original comment about still being a spreader

Never fear, goalposts will have to shift soon, studies are showing that transmission following vaccination is significantly reduced

Yes it’s intramuscular so goes near enough all the way but it’s ultra thin

So the same as most of our injections then, like diphtheria, tetanus, flu ?

Have vaccinated 100s of people these past few weeks and the majority don't even feel it. Wish I'd got a £1 for everyone that said 'is that it' or 'I didn't feel a thing'. Seriously nothing to worry about

I’m not worried, just curious. I never look at the damn things anyho, walk in present arm and look away with closed eyes, if I see the needle I’ll slide on to the floor

Lol! The biggest challenge is people not considering their clothing. Exhausting helping people expose their upper arm when they're in a 3 piece suit and tie! It's wonderful though, seeing the happiness and emotion from some who haven't been out for 10 months

I can imagine a tiring but very rewarding role, that little bit of joy, some light hopefully coming their way. Reminded my folks, who go Saturday, to dress appropriately

Imagine coming onto a thread where someone is happy about something and insisting that it's bad and they shouldn't be happy.
