So what information is there on what happens if you get infected on or around the day of vaccination

Could the virus And the effect of the jab make infection worse at this period , if for example the vaccine makes your body think it’s effected to release antibodies at the same time the virus is taking hold of your body and the vaccine offers no protection in first few days ?

Considering that everyone is not required to test negative before the vaccine one would assume that the manufacturers belive there is no adverse reaction of combining vaccine with active infection .

Can’t seem to find any information on this , any doctor’s or nurses in here that can clear this up ?

There’s no reason that pre-existing infection would affect the vaccination. From the way in which the vaccines work, existing infection would be irrelevant.

However, if you are symptomatic you should self isolate for 10 days and therefore not go for a jab anyway...

If you have a positive test you cannot have your jab for 28 days.
