Why are viruses always bad, like why can’t they help people with being good at sports or give us a bigger dick for a change, why’s it always got to be bad, it’s so unfair ?!

Norwich

Life on earth as we know it would not exist without viruses. The vast majority of viruses are not pathogenic and play an important role in our ecosystem. Just a drop of seawater, for example, will contain millions of viruses.

One positive application of viruses is in gene therapy and vaccine delivery. The Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid vaccie, for example, uses a chimpanzee adenoviral vector.
