" It’s good news but to put into perspective the population of Israel is only about 9 million. If you had the UK programme there they’d be over 2/3 done too.

Actually we would be done because the under 18's are not able to have the vaccine.

" This isn't true unfortunately. My sister lives there. Cases are on the rise as there are cohorts of the population not following rules. They are considering extended lockdown which was due to end this weekend.

"I will just add even though this is brilliant news 7.5 Million doses that includes about 3 million that have had their 2nd dose so actually 3 million are fully vaccinated. It's still brilliant and they really seem to be motoring now." Unfortunately second doses are way behind, as per nhs count today, second dosages given stands at 445,101

We didn't start national roll out till after New year or is my memory failing? Id imagine it will all be focused on dose 1 till Feb 15th target date or whenever it was and then they'll switch a bit to dose 2. If the strategy was to hit first 4 groups by Feb 15th we've got a fair bit to go.

"When all the vaunable people have been vaccinated in a few weeks, what reasons will they come up with to keep us locked down. I can't wait to here the bullshit, it's going to be interesting. " It’s going to take a lot longer than a couple of weeks to vaccinate the vulnerable groups

"When all the vaunable people have been vaccinated in a few weeks, what reasons will they come up with to keep us locked down. I can't wait to here the bullshit, it's going to be interesting. " We are only in phase one of the vulnerable groups. We have only just started on the 3rd and 4th priority out of 8. We are looking at least to the end of Easter and until the priority groups have been vaccinated.

" Why would it be the end of the summer because my understanding is the 1st 4 groups will be completed by mid February OK so let's be generous and say early March. So Why will it take 5 months to vaccinate the other 4 groups?
