"It's not the workers fault it's the environment they have to work in. Many big outbreaks have occurred in food production facilities (low ambient temperature, lots of handling of communal equipment, people working close together in enclosed spaces)." True, it's not the workers fault but found this article quite toxic, why don't the media find out where most of cases coming from? I suspect you find large amounts are from hospitals

"Something like 1 in 6 or 1 in 5 transmissions are thought to occur in hospitals, which isn't surprising really." Thats what causes problems, in a logical way you would find the main sources and put preventative measures in place.

Or offices like the DVLA where 100+ people are working per floor sharing the same toilet/canteen facilities. Not helped by being refused permission to work from home, forced to work despite having symptoms and being instructed to turn off the NHS app. If you get a letter from Swansea, put gloves on before you open it

"I don't get the stance with the vaccines. Key workers are facing those most vulnerable everyday, and some roles like paramedics and police could quite literally be from one house to another for 12+ hours. It's been reported that at least 2 front line officers have died in the last 2 days from covid. Surely they (Key Workers) are all at a greater risk of exposure and should be protected. " I think vaccination is coming for these groups sooner rather than later. Hence these stories.

"If its not bad enough you have to work, now getting the blame for doing so ... Fair enough it's the next town from me, but its a relatively poor town, with manufacturering industry etc https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/rising-covid-infection-rate-redditch-19683831" The Birmingham mail is staffed by utter morons to be fair, it's a terrible 'newspaper' articles are mostly written by low IQ millennials who struggle to spell at the best of times. As far as hospitals are concerned I have a partner working in a Birmingham hospital. Personally we have N95 masks which we bought ourselves (because the hospital will not supply them) but the non covid ward staff are not allowed to wear them at work, she wears an N95 to travel to work but must take it off when she gets there and replace it with a useless surgical mask even though she is in close contact all day with random members of the public, how insane is that?!? the twisted logic is beyond belief. Several of her co-workers have already had covid because of this. They have just changed this rule and they are now getting full gas mask respirators, after facing random members of the public for nearly a year....a bit late don't you think?....the lunatics are running the asylum, with the chief lunatic = Boris. In the city centre we have big problems, i am suprised the Birmingham area has not been more affected, it's probably going to trigger some people what I am about to say because it's not P.C, but after watching this with my own eyes since March I can say for an absolute fact that everywhere I go, shops, supermarkets ect the Pakistani community simply are not complying with the rules, the majority will not social distance or wear masks in shops ect, a simple search on here for my area will also show you that - look at who is trying to still meet, it's mostly Pakistani's.
