I don't want this one. I want that one!

I don't want these two vaccinations as they are working on improving the current one.

Also this virus is mutating all the time. Just as the common flu jabs are different every year because of the mutations, so will it be with the covid virus vaccinations. I can guarantee you that we won't have heard the end of these vaccinations.

Did you mean to email this in reply to an invitation to get the covid vaccine?

Then we have an annual covid jab same as flu ... I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in my house so jab away! If 75% of the population don’t vaccinate then we are fucked

Don’t have one then no one can physically force a needle into your arm

Anyone who refuses to have the current vaccine available when offered one, should go right to the back of the vaccine queue and be done with the very last people. Then they better hope they don't catch Covid and croak in the meantime, anyone can die with it Such selfish attitudes should not be tolerated.

I will take whatever vaccine I am offered when it is my turn.

So wait for the next one to be modified and improved. Tell the virus to pause till it's ready for you. I guess you can decide to wait for the one that follows that if a very different Sars strain emerges in a fees years down the line...if you're around to make that choice. Have a nice day

I come across some stupidity on here and the news - like the wedding for 400 in London. Get the jab.

I wonder if we have too much freedom in this country at the moment. Too many people ready to believe social media trash and then go around thinking they can do what they want and fuck everyone else.

As well as going to the back of the queue as already suggested, idiots should be given a mop and told to sweep the floors around the hospital A&Es.

Had mine a week ago. It was emotional. I'm so grateful to have had it. Anyone who doesn't want it, keep away from me!

Personally I would like the Pfizer one given the choice.

However it’s not a choice so I will take whatever I’m given.

I’m having my first dose on Tuesday and bring it on as regardless of changes in the strain it will offer far me more protection than without one. People need to get on board with the programme or we will be seeing next year in still in lockdown!! If I need an annual vaccine for it then so what I’ll have it like I already have my flu one!!

Nope I would like it as recommended. But again as it not a choice I will roll up my sleeve and take what’s given.

People heading in to get their vaccines in Northern ireland had antivaxxers outside protesting and handing out leaflets. Absolute balloons! I kinda wanna go and protest the protesters

Happened in Bristol as well. Considering the age group and vulnerable demographic that are getting them at the moment they should be ashamed of themselves.

A lot of heads need a wobble.

I think the anti vaxxers should be cared for and loved.

Let's ask the folks carrying the virus, especially those from Brazil or S.Africa, to go and give them all a big kiss and cuddle.

I'm happy to wait for mine until there is more evidence that the new strains that they know about/don't know about react favourably with all of the vaccines. Atm they don't know, Valance has said that on the update.

My sister lives overseas where they will be issued a green card once they have received both doses. Once restrictions lift this will then mean they can go into bars, restaurants etc. She gets her 2nd dose next week. A sensible approach IMO

Viruses mutate, we should accept that and take appropriate steps today, based on what we can do about it.

This virus is nothing like the many various types of influenza A, B and C. Completely different type of virus and with significantly less mutation levels.

It's wise to expect to need ongoing vaccination for flu and this, which will evolve, based on any mutations, potentially higher quality vaccines etc.

You can refuse in all probability but you may not get offered what you wish for

I will take whatever vaccine is offered to me and if next year or 2 years time a better one comes along that will give me more protection I will see if I can have that.

If I have to have it every year and I can do the flu vaccine then so be it.

Yes

It's not like we usually get a choice between measles or tetanus vaccine brands

Out of interest are there different brands of vaccines normally?

I'm assuming there must be.

Often not, I gather, or if there is there are a handful not the huge number out there at the moment.

I have heard several companies will be telling staff to have the vaccination, or you can't work for us as you look after vulnerable people.
