Frequently here and in the USA sports teams winning have led to crowds celebrating. The most recent was just yesterday. Mass events of screaming and shouting and spreading. Shouldnt sports that lead to these be paused until the energency is over? The general population is banned from playing. It's rather elitist and unfair and causes unnecessary celebrations at this time?

It’s their job and they can’t work from home. Mind you, the way Chelsea are playing right now I would welcome an immediate ban!

Look at the video off Scotland supporters in Aberdeen pub when Scotland win a game all hugging and jumping about when the most of the central belt was in lockdown

I dont track them all. I should imagine football derbies with the level of passion behind them also cause a fair amount celebration some of which will be against everything we are doing.

Central

Whilst lockdown measures are in place, they could reasonably be allowed to play, minus crowds of supporters

I do believe publicans and restaurants can still go to work they just can't open to let people in so if the landlord wants to go to work and have his staff in to do work they can there just isn't any point as no one can be served if I under stand correctly.
