Honest opinion ?

Will go one of two ways ..either the vaccine works and we all get our freedom ,jobs and lives back ..or the country will go into a state of pure anarchy ..people will break every rule in the book .

The rate of suicide and mental health problems will become a new epidemic .. and the economy will implode because what we are doing at the moment is not sustainable .

Let's hope people see the light stop trying to bend rules or break them and we all don't have to experience any of that and get out of this relatively unscathed .

There's hope, there's always hope.

Even in the worst case scenario some would survive. Whether it would be a world you wanted to live in is another matter.

We've not had the Wuhan strategy used here and they aren't doing so badly - obviously not 100% of their tactics are known and some perhaps are horrific.

The vaccines being here is the biggest asset, plus they can be adjusted. Future ones may also be better.

We're not a third world economy, we're a rich nation..

Nothing suggests that we're not moving in the direction that is predicted.

Our species is robust, even if we stupidly elect people who are clearly inept and wrong to lead us.

Though current restriction will exist long after we have had the vaccine. There is a way out of this and we can reclaim our lives... Get ourselves a government who can govern. Think Taiwan Vietnam Thailand New Zealand Australia. All these countries and many more have dealt with this virus and seen their lives largely unelected. Not only has Boris and his motley crew ruined people's quality of life, they have ruined our economy and people's livelihoods for decades to come. The only solution is to get rid of this lot. Even another completely new Tory government, but any one except this incompetent lot. Lord Sutch and his Raving Loony Party if still around could not have made a worse job of it.

I am not a believer in the great reset as such...however (I can hear you groaning) financially whoever is in charge wherever in the world, it is a disaster...unless something changes in the way we do business so at least we can weather another pandemic(god forbid). I do not have an answer I am not expounding my great theory just wondering...all this money/credit that is being borrowed /created... to whom is it actually owed, how is it created? Etc etc surely there must be a better way..

Depends whether you are a full or half glass type:

Scenario 1: Patrick valance will get his Pharma shares increased in value with perpetual lock-downs and yearly or 6 monthly jabs for the rest of our lives, until we realise this isnt a vaccine at all-only 33% effective if delaying second dose and may not work with variants, and also dosent stop you catching or spreading covid.

Scenario 2: Now we have seen the folly of leaving our borders open during the last year and wasting our time, plus thousands of deaths, we may, as a society decide we have just got to live with this, get back to work, shield the elderly and vulnerable and ensure financial support is there for those who need to isolate.

We may have to accept that the average life expectancy will drop from 85 to 65 in return for getting our life back.

In Italy civil disobediance has already started, maybe if someone had the will and the way to get rid of our very own Trump we might get somewhere.

It looks bleak at the moment, but for some there's still hope, unfortunately and sadly not all. No guarantees in this life.

People survived the Titanic and that was seriously a no hope of surviving situation.

Look after yourselves and others and that will make it a bit easier at least.

When you see the jam packed scenes from Heathrow airport on the news tonight, you're all gonna die because you're too stupid to exercise some self control & stay home. The government of any party can only do so much but when they are dealing with such large numbers of mental selfish idiots who can't resist a holiday for 12 months, there isn't much hope of any form of normality for a very long time. Get a grip UK.

There is hope.

1918 Spanish flu pandemic lasted 2 years, and life eventually returned to normal , back then they had the major advantage of no internet, so the conspiracy theorists and armchair politicians had to rely on word of mouth, carrier pigeons or morse code to spread their bull shit.

I think they just want to share the UK variant with other countries.

Nature might be just cutting the population

Or humans might be

The world is supposed to be over populated and can’t keep on surviving humans destruction global warming deforestation and eating animal etc

Maybe it’s a way to cull the sick and weak like nature always does

Because virus has been around for 1000 years

The way things are going if the virus don’t kill us or own humans behaviour will
