Sky news saying every adult in uk will have jab by September.... but they also say immunity only lasts at most 5 months , so by September the people who have had it given by April will be due again in September.... will the vaccine be given to them again or will the dreaded words herd immunity be used or will virus been burnt out by then???

Immunity from having the virus lasts at least 5 months ... immunity from the vaccine is a lot longer

they cant say how long for the vaccine yet , they don’t know so its false to just say alot longer

however they expect from analysis of the sars immunity which had a similar vaccine that both the illness and the vaccine will give longer that 5 months, its just 5 months so far as thats all the data they have so cant give additional guarantees

They can only say it lasts 5 months is because they have only been checking for 5 months.
