This lockdown seems way more depressing and harder than the first already.

I think being middle of winter makes it worse as many of us get depressed this time of year anyway to a degree.

Also the virus is worse than before it is scary for me and many

NW London

A lot of people have Lockdown fatigue from the first one lasting too long and also because of the govt promising that any further lockdowns would be a "nuclear deterrent only" and then authorising two subsequent ones

Think this is a bit of a crap time for a lot of people anyway so not being able to work or see people makes it ten times worse

Just got to do what you can to get yourself through it

It's a combination of different things, but will just say if anyone is struggling please just reach out to someone be that friends, family, on here or any of the organisations that are there to lend an ear..

couple, us we him her.

I think it's depressing because it's not really a lockdown! it's just a " lockdown light"

Many schools at almost 50% capacity some higher, roads almost as busy as usual many many people out and about.

Really it's just pub's and restaurants being closed that's the difference to normal.

It's depressing because it's not really going to reduce transmission rates as much as required, which means that it's probably going to drag on longer.

I'm feeling that way too.

Added pressures this time too for us with it being winter and January.

"That's the thing I dont really have anyone to reach out too as such "

You have us,the good people of fabs.

Also there must be a few support groups out there?

But basic human interaction,if you are not getting this it must be very difficult and lonely so my sympathy.

Just going for a short walk seeing from a distance, other people will make you aware your not alone.

It's finally wearing me down. Been super positive till now and still complying but after Christmas and looking at unusable gifts It's finally eating away.... need to stay positive.

I feel the same and I think it's just because we are all a bit fatigued by it. Also the last one was in Spring and summer this is just a bleak time of year anyway.
