London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

I stopped reporting ages ago as it seemed that it was futile and nothing was getting done. However, prompted by the forum, I decided to test the reporting function once more to see what happens now. I reported a couple of profiles which were definitely looking for a physical meet which in no way was hinting at anything virtual. To my pleasant surprise, the profiles both disappeared so action was being taken I assume. It could just be the luck of the draw and it was picked up by a proactive moderator. Well done Fab moderators for stepping up in any case. My only hope is that this can be maintained and prompts others to report as it is worthwhile in the fight against irresponsibility. Does anybody know what happens to these profiles? Is it a timeout and a strike on their record?

I think they just block you both from seeing each other, I could be wrong mate but think that’s what happens

Unless something has changed you'll both just be blocked from each other. I think if admin agree rules have been broken the offending profile is given a warning

Firstly they disappeared from my updates feed. And now i've searched for the two profiles by name search and says not found. I will try another to make sure and report back.

I've reported one or two when I came back on here back in May and admin just blocked us from seeing each other I profiles. Reason I know is because I asked a friend to see if they are still on and they are x

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
