Timing seems a bit pat.

Although she was by far the worst rule breaker of them all travelling on a train from London to Scotland after testing positive for covid and had symptoms.

Hull but travel regularly

Good. More should have been made an example of. Let’s face it less people respected the rules after Cummings eye sight test results

She refused to quit at the time (it was a few months back now when it happened) and even though the SNP kicked her out they couldn't sack her as an MP so she got to stay on in her job with zero consequence.

My understanding was the police did initially investigate but said they couldn't do anything because it was before the stricter rules have come in.

Then that’s out of line, should have done it straight away or not at all surely?

I think it's better late than never but the timing does seem off.

Dithering is this goverments MO sadly.

Although Police sometimes take years to build enough evidence to charge somebody. Just because time has passed doesn't mean your then not accountable for your crime.

Bedford

Will they burn her or dunk her in the pond?

Scotland seemed to be doing so well, but some of them keep shooting themselves in the foot n mouth. I fancy The Sturg.

Hope this all clears up, been planning a visit to Loch Ness for zonks.

I wanna get there before they build a wall.

Scotland

They can't possibly be charging her now just because the restrictions have tightened. That's akin to charging drivers with speeding after the limit has been lowered. Would be ridiculous.

Grantham

Maybe the police just needed the time to do their investigations and then submit a file to the CPS.

(PF in Scotland?)

I for one glad she was found guilty, its immaterial when, its important that she is. As for Cummings he should have been sacked and disgraceful he was kept in.

There should be consistency accross the board in this can't have one set of rules for some and a different set for others. Sends the wrong message which the Cummings incident did and resulted in many sticking fingers up at the rules.
