I'm sure some will consider it essential. I couldn't understand, when they were banned the sale of "none essential items" in Wales, why they were still selling alcohol and cigarettes but not ladies sanitary products.

the sanitary thing was one supermarket and explained as an error

people have nicotine and alcohol addictions/ dependencies so they are essential products

If alcohol is deemed essential then why not?

One near us sells vitamins (new addition the last couple of months) so they get away opening.

Central

In the lockdown 2 the nearest mall appeared to have all shops opened, which I couldn't understand. Didn't visit as I hate such places

I would have preferred places to be reviewed, allowing safer places including gyms, bars etc to have been allowed to open

Luton mall everything that isn't a food shop, pharmacy or takeaway is closed. Vape shop has a gate across the door and a banner "click and collect only"

Welcome to tier 3. It's wonderful fun. So wonderful that we've chosen to boost up to tier 4 here. Enjoy

I went swimming the day we were announced as going into tier 4 (the same announcement came as I was getting dried). It was obvious that friendship groups and family groups had planned to attend separately but at the same time and were sat in the hot tub (2 households allowed at once) or were hovering a short distance apart in the shallow end.

Northampton Somewhere

Tier 4 here and I work in a shop deemed as essential, even though we offer a click and collect there were loads of people in today. Families with 2+ children, friends walking dogs, people killing an hour or so.

People are so irresponsible it drives me bonkers!
