Well I don't see much difference. Just spoke to my sister who has been in Tier 4 since the start... and she has been out to get a coffee from the coffee shop. I thought all non essential shops were closed under tier 4.

I'm half expecting to get stopped to and from my partner ( also my support bubbles house) as we cant live together but are still allowed under tier 4. But we live 70miles apart

Basically anywhere that sells food or drinks is allowed to stay open on a takeout or delivery basically only... hence coffee shop

Funerals can be attended by a maximum of 30 people. Linked religious, belief-based or commemorative events, such as stone settings and ash scatterings can also continue with up to 6 people in attendance. Anyone working is not counted in these limits. Social distancing should be maintained between people who do not live together or share a support bubble.

Your point being? Sounds like you're trying to justify one by comparing it to another?

Breaking rules is breaking rules. However, this is a swinging/sex site therefore I'm focusing on those breaking rules through this site. I'm sick of having people excuse their behaviour and they're every bit a part of the problem.

But as I said and to the surprise of people in those meetings he decided not to attend for months on end. Perhaps he had been up all night with the baby,,,,, after all it is only a pandemic with far reaching social and economic consequences. But you'll be aware of that as people involved in a swinger's club

That would've been far too easy and in line with common sense

They do at the 'Cobr' meetings.

That would be the same meetings Boris Johnson did not attend for 4 months in a row

"What's the difference between 3 and 4 don't watch tv so not really up on the rules

Basically it’s non essential shops being allowed to remain open.... in tier 4 they are not...... cheers _abio just had a quick check just at a family funeral next week just didn't no if things changed for it.

Just checked on the number of people allowed to go to the funeral... I don’t think there is a difference in the number between tier 3 and tier 4 but I would check to be on the safe side

Funerals can be attended by a maximum of 30 people. Linked religious, belief-based or commemorative events, such as stone settings and ash scatterings can also continue with up to 6 people in attendance. Anyone working is not counted in these limits. Social distancing should be maintained between people who do not live together or share a support bubble."

It depends on the venue be it a church or crem on how many can attend but the max 30 limit applies.

In this instance the venue wouldn’t have changed so the rules from increase of tier wouldn’t have changed.

Check your own local Authority website. If your existing support bubble is local its ok. Ten days solitary if you need to change a support bubble.

Have you not? Somehow I find that difficult to believe. I look at a lot of female/couple profiles (to see who may be worth chatting to for future potential meets) and they are obviously meeting. I also probably have 8-10 guys viewing my profile every day with status updates requesting "meet now", "discreet BJ at...." Etc etc.

I find it extremely sad (and 2 faced) that so many people on here are burying their heads in the sand about meets yet they're more than happy to jump down some forum poster's throat when they start a thread about something far less trivial.

And funny enough, I've literally just been viewed by a couple who live nearby who are looking for "some Christmas fun".

But yeah... no-one's meeting mate.

I do agree that scary but if I'm correct, it is mostly people who are symptomatic that are being tested so those figures might actually mean that around one in 20 people who are symptomatic are testing positive.

We only had 7 hours notice of the first band of counties to join T4. Second wave of T4 had 48 hours and I guess that would have been to allow for people who had restaurants booked for Christmas Day lunch as much as anything else.

I'm raising the "elephant in the room" question about people meeting on Fab (which I repeat again, everyone is choosing to ignore as they're scared for some reason) which is very much part of the reason areas are being moved into Tier 4.

I'm not going to respond to 99% of that because you're being deliberately argumentative and you know it. If that means I "don't have a comeback" then so be it.

So you want me to answer where you said people weren't meeting I take it?

You clearly said "I haven't seen anyone on their status" looking for a meet. Whilst word for word that doesn't say nobody is meeting I'm calling you out for being a liar (unless you don't read any status updates). If you do read status updates then you clearly don't have anyone living within 100 miles of you.

I'll keep reporting and blocking people on here as it's the right thing to do. As for being "unlikely to come across people who have had a meet during the pandemic", how do we know that's unlikely?

"Dave meets Sally"

"Sally meets Harry"

One of them had COVID but was asymptomatic so they were going about life as per normal and unwittingly infecting people on meets.

All 3 of them do a weekly shop in Aldi like myself.

All 3 of them have family who are potential carriers.

All 3 of them work for a living and come into contact with multiple workmates.

2 of them have to use public transport to get to work.

How unlikely is it now that I'm "unlikely to come across one of them"?(or more likely the virus than them directly)

I'd hazard a guess if people put their heads together. The same names would crop up on a regular basis

Funny old game Saint.

Dick measuring?

I'm raising the "elephant in the room" question about people meeting on Fab (which I repeat again, everyone is choosing to ignore as they're scared for some reason) which is very much part of the reason areas are being moved into Tier 4.

I just happen to have a rather annoying stalker who doesn't seem to agree with me.

"So gyms are shutting again, f*cking brilliant.

And yet hundreds/thousands of selfish idiots still fucking their way around Fab. Thanks guys/gals.

I haven't seen anyone on their status but perhaps I don't trawl.. Have you been isolating for 5 years?

So, tell me where in my reply did I say either they are or aren't meeting..

I'm fascinated to know where I said that

You said you'd not seen anyone posting meets in their status updates which, as you well know, is you implying that no-one is meeting.

I never assume or imply anything. If I said I didn't see the Queen would that imply there isn't one?

I said, and please read this extremely carefully "I haven't seen anyone on their status"

I did NOT say nobody is suggesting a meet but I said "I haven't seen anyone on their status"

Perhaps you scour the site more and if you're that concerned, why haven't you reported the offending members or perhaps if you're so incensed and irate, why are you still trawling?

I don't think covid policemen on here get paid

Condescending much? I've reported plenty btw. Every time I see one I report it. If Fab is genuine in it's support of limiting the spread of the virus then it should be doing everything it can to stop meets happening. Personally I don't think that's the case as day after day I'm seeing the same old updates. If that makes me the COVID police then so be it. I'd rather give a shit about the well-being of the human race than turn a blind eye to people blatantly flouting site & government rules. Too many people are scared to speak out about it on here but it needs saying and needs dealing with.

So, after the rant, you still didn't answer my question but that's what I expected. Smoke and mirrors. Make a wild unsubstantiated statement and when challenged, rant about something else.

If you have a problem with fabswingers moderators, admin or indeed members, why are you even on the site

If you're that worried, why are you scouring the site for the odd update.

I don't have a problem with anyone. I think the mods are doing a decent job.

I do know a few girls who've had lots of requests to meet but they just turn them down

However, the amount you are apparently reporting, there won't be any that many members left.

Seriously though, why are you on the site if you sit there all day reporting inappropriate status's?

Even if people meet, why would it worry you? I'm not worried if people meet. If they wish to do it, that's up to them. Just block everyone that puts up an inappropriate status or srnd a message to them and say you're blocking and reporting them but I datesay you wouldn't do that, would you, especially if you could do it anonymously.

You're unlikely to come across people who have had a meet during the pandemic. Concern yourself with yourself.

Stay safe buddy.

Don't worry about you didn't answer the question. You implied it.

Where's my lawn mower?

How unlikely is it now that I'm "unlikely to come across one of them"?(or more likely the virus than them directly) "

Hahaha

How Rutland, an area no more than 20 miles wide, less than 150 square miles is Tier 3 when all around it is Tier 4 bewilders me, and larger local district authorities with lower rates have been lumped together like East Lindsey at more than 650 square miles into Tier 4.

Mass testing was offered to Tier 3, which was only took up in some areas and I hear no mention of this now apart from for kids, who appear to mingle regardless outside of school.

Anyone know how an area moves back through the tiers back to 3 or 2?

So if in tier 4 youre not allowed out of the area.

Because Rutland has no hospital facilities of its own and falls under Leicestershire for that.

I still don't get it - so it is reliant on Leicestershire which has been moved to Tier 4, so surely an area defaults to the worst one, just like district councils larger than Rutland, who are reliant on main hospitals elsewhere, are having to being lumped into their council authority like in Lincs.
